  1. Thank you LadyT618, I love the book and bought one! I didn’t know there is such a book like that?
  2. Thank you SopranoKris for sharing. I think it is a great idea to make a grid for all my information. I will work on it and also cheat sheets for common meds!
  3. Thank you for sharing Boston FNP! I am already worried about not having the right answer. Your comment is encouraging and I feel better now knowing how the flow will be!
  4. I am wondering if anyone can share a typical clinical day with a preceptor. I am going to start clinicals with a doctor in adult health and I want to be prepared. I am going to carry textbooks for assessment and labs, I have apps downloaded on my phone such as uptodate. I will need to gather 3-4 cases to do my assignment. Do you write down all the information you need before leaving the office? or can I ask for copies? Of course, I will delete all confidential info. I think this can depend on the preceptor, but if it is too much to ask for copies, I do not want to ask in the first place. Any tips are appreciated!
  5. Thanks to NICU guy! I enjoyed the video. I can surely use the information during the semester. Obesity is a national threat!
  6. Thanks for the comment. I read an article from here about nurses getting/not getting the flu shot and that asked if you would still get the flu shot even if it is not required by employees. As you mentioned, I can extend my writing to discuss other vaccines as well. Thank you!
  7. I am a student FNP and I looked into mobile health for the writing but, I want to see what other issues are on the surface. I also thought about anti vaxxer but that issue is more about pediatric so after all, I just couldn't decide. I worked as a hemodialysis nurse but I am interested in the FNP field. Thank you for the comment. I will still search for news and articles while waiting for more comments here.
  8. Hello, I am wondering if someone can share current issues affecting the adult population in healthcare. I need to write a discussion if I support or not the issue as well. Thank you in advance!

  10. I just took that Pharm. class in my first semester. Therr were quizes, discussions, and exams. For discussion I often had to find readings out of textbook. However, all the answers for the quizes and exams were in the textbook. Quite a lot of reading but at least you know where to find answers!

  18. I am wondering if this writer is still active here becuase I am really curious how things are going for her and if she is about to finish the program. I also live in Maryland and thinking about applying Bradley and also looked up Georgetown as well. Compared to other programs, Bradley is requiring 67 credits when other schools 43-52 based on my research amd I am wondering if she thinks taking more credits are worthy. If anyone else read my comments, would you please share your experiences? I greatly appreciate you in advance.

  23. I would like to correct those jobs are from county health department and l have to say Merry Christmas to all reading my post:)
  24. I checked two jobs posted from state health department and trying to understand what they are. One is "Program Administrator, health service" and the other one is "Community health nurse program supervisor". I am trying to understand what do they do? Job descriptions are relativley short and broad. I googled and searched but have not find good answer. I have BSN and I worked in Rehab, Nursing home, seasonal flu shot nurse and Hemodialysis outpatient for last 8 years and I am getting so tired. I am looking for a job,,, regular job, work in the desk, off weekend and holidays, regular hours, not like 14 hours, jobs I can relatively relaxed...I am wondering if this job is the kind. Thank you so much in advance.
