  1. Heck yeah after all I did for this degree I posted it on Facebook twitter snapchat and took out a full page ad in the paper!!!!!
  2. can you let us know when you receive your offer letter pleaaaasee
  3. have they sent out offer letters yet or was it just a verbal offer?
  4. how'd everyones interviews go? did anyone hear back?
  5. this is funny because I went through the exact same situation. Me and one of my classmates always studied together, and another student asked to study with us. My friend didn't want her too, because she didn't want us to spend our study time teaching. I felt bad for the student so I let her come and we spent most of the time going over stuff we already knew. I didn't really mind, but the girls bad study habits eventually caught up with her and she's not in nursing school anymore. There wasn't anything we could do really.
  6. I'm not sure yet, I'm just in Level 1 of clinicals, so we're just doing health assessment and nursing fundamentals, I feel like I'll figure out what I want to do when we do our med/surg rotation and pediatrics and stuff. I really appreciate you guys tips though!!! Maybe ER since I'm about to be EMT certified, but who knows!
  7. 1st semester Nursing student here! I am 20 years old and am certified as a CNA and about to finish my EMT classes and get certified is that! Is there anything else I can do or be certified as? I just like to keep busy and every bit of knowledge I've gotten from my EMT classes has really helped me in Pre-Nursing!! Anyways what else can I do, I'm out of ideas!
  8. You can always become a Nurse Practitioner later on, they are similiar to doctors. They can prescribe meds, interpret labs, etc.
  9. we learned about gram negative, gram positive bacteria....like streptococcus, staphlycoccus, clostridium, cornyebacteria, etc etc. my teacher had been doing micro his whole life and made us learn so much bacteria uggggh my head hurts just thinking about it!! but its a fun class, :)
  10. at my school, the grading scale is crazy in my opinion. 80-84 is a c, 85-93 is a b and 94 + is an A. it makes for a very stressful semester, cause 2 bad tests and you have an uphill battle from there! anyways, this semester (my last pre-nursing!) i got: chemistry: a micro: b patho: b english: a i feel good, i didn't think i could pass patho at all, i was really aiming for a C!
