Hi everyone i need some help. i have dissertation and i done but i want to The likelihood that the expected questions asking me. its about A Study to Assess the Knowledge of Final Year B.sc Nursing Students about Emergency Drugs and the Calculation of Drug Doses. and these some of it .... 5:4 Implications This provides a brief summary of the study, relate the findings of research, and suggest possible directions for future studies. Administration of medication is an inevitable part of nurses' role in the care of critically ill patients. Students who are in final year Basic B.Sc. Nursing program will soon find themselves giving comprehensive nursing care in the clinical settings. 5:5 Implications for Nursing Practice The findings from this study will allow the nursing students to have knowledge and skills about emergency drugs and drug calculations which help them to be ready working in the healthcare setting. Furthermore, it will develop the knowledge, skills and critical thinking of the nursing students which help them to develop their practical side. The Nursing students are expected to acquire a minimum knowledge of 75% in Emergency Drugs and the Calculation of Drug Doses. This will enable them to perform their job better in the clinical settings. As it is found that the Nursing students possess inadequate knowledge on Emergency Drugs and the Calculation of Drug Doses, an information booklet is prepared as the outcome of the study. 5:6 Implications for Nursing Education Today, all nursing students must have knowledge and skills on emergency drugs and the calculation of drug doses before graduating. The findings from this study will allow the nursing education department in the hospital to include emergency drugs and drug calculation in orientation program and also in continuous education. The study findings support the fact that nursing students have inadequate reference material on Emergency Drugs and the Drug Calculation. Hence the information booklet which is prepared as an outcome of this study can be of tremendous help for the teachers as well as students for acquiring adequate knowledge on Emergency Drugs and Calculation. 5:7 Implications for Nursing Research Every graduate nurse should be proficient and confident in the administration of emergency drugs and calculation of drug doses. The deficiency in the knowledge among nurses can result in medication errors. Adverse drug events and even death in people. The findings of the present study can form the basis for future research. The implications which have been made in this study are of prime concern for nursing practice , nursing education , nursing administration , nursing research . 5:8 Implications for Nursing Administration The findings of this study will help the nursing administration to be involved in developing educational programs for nursing students to develop their knowledge and skills about emergency drugs and calculations. Nurse administers struggle in creating a positive practice environment for nursing students that contribute to be competent in emergency drugs administrations and drug calculation. The findings of this study will give adequate information to the nursing student provide care. The information booklet can be made available in the settings so that the nursing student can refer as and when required. This will reduce the clinical instructor's time in clarifying the doubts of the nurses in the unit and decrease the enormous time spent on supervision of nurses administering the medication in the care . The booklet can also enhance the nurses' knowledge and reduce the incidence of medication errors. This ultimately conserves the time of nursing administrators spent on incidental reports and the subsequent discussions which usually follow every medication error. 5:9 Limitations The limitations of the study were as follows: 1. The study was conducted among the participants from Al-Riyda College for Health Sciences, Jeddah. So generalization must be done with caution. 2. The study was done on a small sample size of 20. Hence generalization is possible only for the selected participants. 3. This study carried out for Final Year Nursing students, and could be done for other students also. 5:10 Recommendations On the basis of the findings of the present study and keeping in mind the limitation of the study, the following recommendations were proposed .After examining the result of the questionnaire it became clear that the students do not have adequate knowledge on the emergency medication and they need to take more educational courses on it due to its importance. Pharmacology is a course that entails a great deal of subject matter and will require a nursing student to acquire much information. Therefore we recommend the following: a) The study could be conducted with larger samples thereby the findings could be generalized better. b) A comparative study could be conducted between the students at different college or university level. c) A study can also be done to assess the skills of nursing students in administration of emergency drugs and the calculation of drug doses. d) The curriculum committee should review the pharmacology course syllabus. e) Review policy of minimum requirement of attendance and minimum pass mark in the pharmacology course. f) Provide more opportunity for students to attend medication and calculation courses in hospital to motivate them.

  3. Hi my dear its not a homework question but i want to know what i will do if face me this issue Good practice in gaining consent is part of an ongoing process of communication that respects patient rights and takes into account a patient’s capabilities, concerns and circumstances including: Good communication starts with the first interaction between the health worker and the patient. It takes into account the particular concerns and capabilities of the individual being treated. .. their temperament, attitude and level of understanding; .. influences that are non-medical but may impact on their choice; .. disabilities or impairment; .. their individual circumstances and cultural norms; .. information provided to the patient in a form and language they can understand, and .. response to their questions and concerns .
  4. If you are a nurse-manager or nurse just on a surgical unit & you are presented with a client who refuses to sign consent for treatment how can deal with this issue?
  5. my dear so nice thanks for telling us & share your story.
  6. Hi my dear I think it the first rule of management but i don't know the meaning
  7. Good evening guys I want to discuss with you about this statement. DON'T SEND YOUR DUCKS TO EAGLE SCHOOL
  8. Forgiving yourself can be much harder than forgiving someone else. When you're carrying around a sense of blame for something that has happened in the past, this bundle of negativity burrowing deep into yourself can cause a never-ending, pervasive sense of unhappiness. Forgiving yourself is an important act of moving forward and releasing yourself from the past. It's also a way of protecting your health and general well-being. Focus on your goal & do what you can to achieve it good luck my dear
  9. its yes my dear 5:37 pm by Esme12 That is very well done! I agree with you. Being a good leader will make you a good manager as well. I believe in leading by example and using each individuals strengths to develop a good team. some people who use their strengths at work are more likely to be engaged and perform at higher levels. so you will be know how to lead with your strengths will not only help you set the example for others, but will also help you achieve your highest potential as a leader in your department and your organization as a whole. Understand what strengths are. defined as activities that make you feel strong. Everyone has certain talents, knowledge, and skills that make them feel successful and unique. Talents are aptitudes, personality traits, or interpersonal characteristics like assertiveness, curiosity, empathy, or strategic thinking. These are often things you are born with. Knowledge is information based on facts and personal experience, like symptoms for a specific illness, the structure of a good speech, or how to take care of a horse. ( just examples) Skills are learned activities or tasks that you can do well, such as presenting a speech, playing a sport, or creating a spreadsheet
  10. Hi my dear Occasionally some things go out of control of leaders such as the suitable skill pool in the organization, deadline, and the economic situation. The failure can happen if the employees are unconcerned and negative. but I want to know your way in resolving the difficult situations, so you should concentrate on analyzing the failure and draw the experience from it. The way you used the difficulties to design the policies and trainings. Show your bravery to face with the failure and ready to recover and continue going on.
  11. There are as many traits of a leader as there ae lists of what makes a leader. Here are the fundamental traits of a leader from my perspective 1- Has integrity. People have to believe that you are pursuing your dream because it's the right thing to do, not just because you are ego driven. 2-Is a people person. Understands the differences that make people unique and is able to use those individual skills to achieve the goal. 3-Is positive. A leader encourages and rewards people and makes you want to do it and do it right. A leader is not a negative person and doesn't waste time and effort tellng everyone what they're doing wrong. There are specific skills someone must master if they are want to be a leader. Effective communication / it's more than just being able to speak and write. A leader's communication must move people to work toward the goal the leader has chosen. Motivation / a leader has to be able to motivate everyone to contribute. Each of us has different "buttons". A leader knows how to push the right buttons on everyone to make them really want to do their best to achieve the leader's goal. Planning / the leader has a plan to achieve the goal. He/she doesn't get too bogged down in the details, that's what managers are for, but rather uses a high level plan to keep everyone moving together toward the goal.
  12. Thanks my dear 3:23 pm by JustBeachyNurse Here is one of the threads mentioned: https://allnurses.com/nursing-student...ng-890580.html she want to be good leader, At the most basic level, a leader is someone who leads other. But what makes someone a leader? What is it about being a leader that some people understand and use to their advantage? What can you do to be a leader? Here's what you need to know and do. A leader is a person who has a vision, a drive and a commitment to achieve that vision, and the skills to make it happen. Let's look. A leader has a vision. Leaders see a problem that needs to be fixed or a goal that needs to be achieved. It may be something that no one else sees or simply something that no one else wants to tackle. Whatever it is, it is the focus of the leader's attention and they attack it with a single-minded determination. [h=3]Trait & Skills a Leader Must Have: There are things that set leaders apart from other people. Some people are born with these characteristics. Others develop them as they improve as leaders. These are not magic bullets. They are things you can do and be if you want to be a leader.[/h]
