  1. Some of these scholarships end up paying you a lot less than what you would make as a NP when you graduate and you will end up loosing money in the long run
  2. That sucks! we have a limit of 2 students per preceptor.....I hate it when they do that how are we supposed to learn anything! I hope you have better luck in the future and find someone willing to teach!
  3. Just out of curiosity how many days out of the week do u have clinicals and what are ur hours?? I am starting my masters next month and I haven't received my clinical schedule yet.
  4. btw Shamika is awesome, maybe a bit overworked. This program is 5 semesters to BSN and 3 semesters to MSN - 2 and a half years
  5. sorry been busy with the fall session i just saw ur post: but jobs aren't that hard to find u just have to look around. most of us have either part time or full time jobs and although its not recommended it is necessary for some. Some of us work in labs, medical clinics, insurance companies whatever we find................the program is pretty intense but you will survive with a job. and most of the students are local so they either live with their families or by themselves. Apartments are cheaper than fiu dorms - check craigslist. hope it was useful
  6. I am in the FIU FEP BSN-MSN program its a great program for foreign physicians and yes it is a "Real" program. Most of the pre-reqs can be done in one semester some can be done online(miami dade college) but u should check the course with them before u take it. And the people in the office are super nice and always ready to help you.pm me if u need any other info
