Confused as to what everyone thinks you can actually do with someone's license number....the amount of info I had to provide to my job, requirements etc such as SS#... I mean if they have all that info then I'm pretty much screwed from the start. Employers search more than just the number. You CANT just write down a license number and call yourself a nurse....you need more requirements then that....

Maybe you need to work other jobs not in healthcare to realize how great nursing is.. The grass is not always greener on the other side. I worked a 9-5 for 3 years before starting nursing. Sitting in a cubital for 40 hours a week staring at a computer...now that is depressing. No matter what career you work, you'll always come across crappy coworkers. And the rude patient thing... I mean thats going to happen too, maybe you needed to switch hospitals/units. I work in oncology in a huge city hospital and maybe have one difficult patient a month.

is everyone on this feed coming straight from a BSN program to DNP? Just curious

Graduating with my BSN in May 2016. Should I continue on to grad school or wait? If I continued it would take me like 5-7 to get my masters or DNP and I would work full-time as I continued school. Suggestions???!??!?!?!?!?!?

Thank you for the info! I had my interview friday and I think it went great. You're right they are very low-key. I did about two hours of share time and LOVED the unit. Hopefully I will hear from them next week! I already declined MDs offer so it looks like I'll be at Hopkins if i get the job. I'm on weinberg 5C and 5D? I'm honestly still confused about all the units and floors in the Weinberg building lol

Considering grad school in the long run. I know the basic requirements but I'm interested in hearing about the qualifications of students who have been accepted. I'm mainly concerned with GPA. Everything else they look at I'm 100% confident on. I know they require a 3.0 GPA, which I can definitely do. I'm just concerned because I'm not a 3.7 student anymore. I think I will graduate with a 3.4 GPA (maybe 3.2?). Just curious, thanks!

I applied to Towson and MD and already heard back from both (i got accepted to both programs) I have similar TEAS scores and GPA (3.7 & 87%) I am 100% positive all of you ladies will get accepted! @fitmom84 @jackiejeanne (ps. Same, I emailed them and asked when we would hear from them. They said within 1-4 weeks, which doesn't help us narrow it down at all. lol

Lol that is a last minute decision! Well you'll definatly get into UMB and be fine! I hope they let us know soon! I've been checking my application like three times a day.

You applied to the hagerstown campus and not the main campus? I don't know about housing but I do have a friend that did that program and said it was an awesome program/experience! Where is your first choice UMB?

I haven't heard from UMB either and I hope I hear from them before Towsons deadline! I'll most likely go to Towson though, CONGRATS EVERYONE!
