Hi all!! I just wanted to take a sec to wish you all the best of luck! I graduated from this program in December. However, I was originally waitlisted & was so sad when I found out. But shortly after I did come off the waitlist & although I hope no one gets in the same boat as I was, I just wanted to advise you all not to get too discouraged! Again, I hope y'all hear something real soon!!! :)

Hello all! Just wondering if anyone has heard about interviews for the NICU unit at SMCA or know of someone who has received an interview there? I was told they usually hire 1-2 graduate nurses. Hoping to hear something soon!! :)

@ aboothby24, Congrats on your acceptance to the pediatric np program! I've been accepted to the AE-MSN program that starts this summer, & I'm also hoping to one day enter the pediatric NP track. I saw that you were also looking for a roommate, & since we're interested in the same specialty thought it might be a good match! Let me know if you are planning on attending UT-Austin & maybe we could exchange contact info! :)

Hi Pulmonary- thanks for starting this! I also had my interview on the 7th... & I felt it went very well. Are you applying from out-of-state as well? I'm from TX. I thought the GEM First Look was very informative & I enjoyed hearing from the current GEM students. The total cost for the program was kinda scary though.....

@atxmitch, thank you for your words of encouragement!! I appreciate it. I took your advice & was able to find out my ranking on the wait-list.....I now feel a lot better about my chances. Only time will tell!!

Sm09, I am also nervous for the interview! I guess for those students that were deferred from January '14 term, that would mean less spots available to the regular applicant pool? Not sure how that process works! Naysando, Thank you for the words of encouragement!! Do you plan to continue on to a DNP program?

Natavid, sorry for the late reply, but both Rush & UT's MSN programs seem very good, however I would love to stay in Texas. So I guess I just have to wait and see!

Pd31, it seems to me the interviews are scheduled during the same time? Not sure exactly. Are you going to attend the GEM first look?

Natavid, I applied to Rush GEM's program. I have my interview in a few weeks in Chicago. Did you hear back from Marquette yet? Jinglebob, Sorry to hear about your interview experience. I still wish you the best of luck!

Yes! The waiting game is very hard!! I had my interview for adult health back in early December. Just curious... did yall apply to any other similar programs? Any out of state programs?

The GRE is not required for the ELM program, is that correct? Just wanted to make sure... I'm applying for Spring 2015, but hopefully Fall 2014 if spaces open up!
