Juan de la cruz, I am going to be starting an ACNP program in January through Grand Canyon (online). I will be living in the bay area at the time clinicals are to start. Do you have any advice for finding a preceptor? Do you know anyone personally who likes to teach? -H

Have you mentored any students who had to seek out their own clinical experiences for ACNP? I'm worried that it may be more of a challenge to find preceptors (in the bay area) than the school makes it out to be. I'm grateful for any insight.

Hi there, I was accepted into the ACNP program but I am concerned about the clinical portion of the program. Was it difficult to find preceptors/sites?

Just curious, does it seem like the favor local applicants? Also, how was the health science reasoning test?

Juan de la cruz, may I ask what an average ACNP new grad would make in the bay area? I've been accepted into a program but on the fence about it lately... and one factor is if it's worth the tuition investment vs working as a staff RN in the bay area.

Anyone in the program for ACNP already? How is it? I start Jan 2014!
