I used to work in a hospital and there were a lot of staff, nursing all the way to maintanance, that had visible tattoos and the hospital was ok with it. except this one girl who was a CNA had profanity written down her arm and they made her wear a lab coat at all times. if she were caught without they would send her home. and now i work in a doctors office and one girl there has tattoos all over and they hired her with no questions about it. so i guess it will depend on where you work and what your tattoos are

I would like to wish u all the luck in the world.. i remember my first day how nervous i was...now i am going for my RN and it is like going back to that first day... i am only going to say.... whatever you do STUDY!!!!!! i cant stress enough how important that is and if you are going through the 10 month course...make sure everyone knows your life is on hold till you get through it. it took me 2 tries because i didnt realize how important it was for me to let go of all my extra activities in my life and just concentrate on my books.......GOOD LUCK and again STUDY

wow what a shame that someone would disaprove of this. i work with elderly people and i can tell you that once in a while you get some that still have that drive and if u ask me we as the caregivers should be allowing this to happen. i had a patient one time, she was a widow, and was all the time playing so the staff all pitched in and got her a vibrator to use. she loved it. nothing wrong with that if u ask me. it was actually safer than having her use something that may hurt her. we also had a married couple that we were to leave alone when they asked. they closed there door and did whatever they did and all was ok.
