HI all Im a new grad nurse passed my board two months ago and i have an interview for a Periop nurse program with a hospital on tuesday. I'm actually pretty nervous and was wondering what type of questions i should expect them to ask me. I have to go through two interviews, the first is a group interview with a staff nurse, a clinical educator, and the director of periop. If i make it through that interview then i go on to a one on one interview with the leadership of Periop services. I would really love any input about the OR and what i should know for the interview thank you :)

I studied from dec 2 until jan 11th so a little over than a month and half. I read a chapter or two from saunders then would answer the 100 questions on the CD. SATA i used saunders as well

I just took the nclex exam yesterday I received the good pop up today and I used yellow Saunders and Kaplan 2013-2014 strategies book. I wouldn't say the questions are close but they were helpful especially the select all that apply. I used the CD to answer 100 questions every day hope this helps in some way

I know how it feels but dont give up!! I just took my exam for the 3rd time yesterday and finally got the good pop up. I used saunders yellow book with the CD for questions and Kaplan 2013-2014 strategies edition

Thank you! I used yellow saunders for content and Kaplan strategies 2013-2014 edition. i would do 100 questions from saunders every day i scored 66-84% dont forget to pray before every session and study during the time you are taking the test. For example my test was at 2pm and I would start my study session each time at 1:30pm

I gave in and did the PVT and got the good pop up!!

I took my nclex for the 3rd time yesterday as well. Im waiting until tmr to find out my results. I used the yellow saunders book and answered questions on the CD along with the kaplan 2013-2014 edition i though that was very helpful. You can do it please dont give up you were born to be a nurse!

Im praying I did! and my first 5 question were SATA in a row i thought it was a joke like why am I being tortured lolol

Thank you :) Im trying to stay positive! How do you feel you did on your test? they say if you walk out feeling like you failed, you passed and vice versa but the first two times i was unsure and i failed but this time I feel somewhat confident that i passed

I took my nclex yesterday for the 3rd time. The first 2 times I failed at 265. After my second attempt i took a three week break from studying and just relaxed my mind. I picked back up studying all month of december and the first two weeks of Jan. I read the yellow saunders book and the 2013-2014 Kaplan strategies book. My test ended at 78 questions. I had 14 select all that apply, 1 med math, 3 pictures, 1 drag and drop, tons of priority and i believe 3 med questions i didnt understand. I havent done the PVT trick because i am nervous.

I also took the nclex for the third time yesterday i failed the first 2 times at 265, this time i read yellow saunders and the kaplan 2013-2014 strategies edition book and the computer shut off at 78. I feel more confident this time but please dont give up and pray pray pray!! God is with you and He will see you through this!

Hello all I am taking my nclex for the 3rd time next month and wanted to know if anyone has passed using Saunders 5th edition? The previous two times I've used Kaplan, exam cram and ncsbn. I went to 265 both attempts and honestly don't know why I can't pass please any advice would really help out a lot thanks

Thanks I'm a 3rd test time taker also, how much was this tutor? Also was this the only study material you used?
