  1. Congrats nurse 111. You accept?
  2. Got an acceptance e mail today haha...talk about waiting until the last minute.
  3. Well if anyone thinks of any tips/advice before I start in August, please feel free to let me know!
  4. Hey thanks for the input rsna2015M. Do you recommend taking it easy before the start of the program, or should I be brushing up on my sciences? Also, any word on the financial aid situation for next fall? I hear RSNA might be eligible for loan money. Thanks for any info!
  5. Stats and ICU experience are almost identical to mine. I did have my CCRN though and got interviews at 5 schools this year. I wouldnt worry about re taking the GRE, it's overrated. Get that CCRN and possibly retake an anatomy or an advanced chemistry and you should be good to go.
  6. Are you referring to the city in general?
  7. Moving there next year too. When I went up I really liked the Northhills and six forks area.
  8. I've heard of people getting into a couple Florida schools with less than 3.0 GPAs.
  9. As long as something else on your application stands out...like higher acuity ICU, some grad science classes or previous science degree, even just CCRN. You've always got a shot somewhere.
  10. you'll definitely get higher acuity patients at the level 1 trauma center. But in the end it all comes down to how knowledgeable you are in your specialty.
  11. I wonder if you could even get financial aid in that amount of time...
  12. Hey can anybody on this thread tell me how the Raleigh school clinical experience is/was?
