  1. Hi spartan_711 and kce32305 ! Can you pls tell me a little about your qualifications? I filled out an application a few days ago and I also chose MICU on my survey. Just trying to see if I have a good chance of getting called for an interview. Thanks!
  2. Thanks!! U too. In-person, what about u? @socal529
  3. ICU float. Did u hear anything about d essay yet? I wonder what it's going to be like
  4. Received a call for an interview today! Freaking outttt. Anybody else interviewing?
  5. No changes. Just "submitted."
  6. Did anyone get called for an interview? I just received a call asking for a phone interview.
  7. Is it true you have to sign a 2-year contract?
  8. Did you get called for an interview yet?
  9. Okay. I'll watch out for that email. Thank you.
  10. So I'm very late, and I'm VERY worried I recently just moved to Austin. I applied today, and received a confirmation email. Does anyone know how to check my application status on the website?
  11. Yayyyyy. I finally have a license! Tested on the 15th. Last name starts with L!
  12. @TooProudToMention I know. It's worse for those of us that tested after the 10th. Feel so helpless!
  13. Thank you!! @TooProudToMention. I actually called back and was lucky to speak with a nice lady this time. She confirmed that I passed, which I'm very excited about. I'm over the moon right now, she made my day! She also mentioned that everything looks good on my file, that I just have to wait 4-8 weeks for my official result.. Dang!
  14. I tested on the 15th and got the good pop up, and like many others, it's been a long and stressful wait for me. I'm about to go crazyy! I call the BRN once in a while to make sure everything is complete on my file and each time, they say "yes" until today. The BRN lady forwarded me to an evaluator's voice mail. Now, I'm even more worried. Did anybody else get forwarded to an evaluator and what does it mean? My mind is racing with all kinds of thoughts right now
  15. What units did you select? Goodluck to us!
  16. Oh wow Om Shanti :) When did you interview? Are you in-state too?
  17. Congratulations! And thank you!! I pray for some good news for myself as well. Will keep you posted :)
  18. Thank you for the very helpful tips and yes, I would appreciate if you could list the websites you visited to practice for your interview :) So far, I have had one phone interview with the HR dept. My resume was forwarded to two of the ICUs, but it's been two weeks and I still haven't heard anything. I'm about to go nuts. I will be traveling in from California when I'm granted an interview. I'm planning to take the NCLEX in the coming weeks. I have sooo many questions lol, but I'm just hoping I get called for an interview in any of the ICUs first. Keeping that hope and staying sane have been challenging, though. Congratulations on your interview with the MRICU manager. Please allow me to tap into that blessing :). Have you received any formal offer yet?
  19. Hi @BoRN17 I live out of state so I'm scheduled for a phone interview instead. Was it a difficult interview, what kind of questions can I expect? Do u have any tips that can help me? It's my first interview so I'm very nervous. Would you happen to know how many new grads they will be hiring, and can new grads be hired into the ICU? Also, if you don't mind me asking. Have you already taken the board exam? What are your qualifications? Are you in-state? I'm worried they might not want to hire an out-of-state candidate. I apologize for bombarding you with so many questions. Just nervous.
