  1. Woohoo! I'm in too! Excited, scared
  2. Hoping we hear this week. Good luck everyone. Please post any updates
  3. Nothing came to Tulsa yet. Hopefully tomorrow.
  4. Hoping today is the day. Come on mr mailman, be my friend
  5. So, another week has come & gone so I'm thinking the 7th as it was last year will be our day of letters. Hope everyone gets the good news they're hoping for
  6. Seems quiet here so I guess no one's heard anything yet?
  7. I was reading last year's applicants didn't start getting their acceptance/declination letters until April 7 so guess we have a long wait. Hope everyone posts as they hear any more updates. Good luck to everyone
  8. So, I think that kinda confirms if you(I) can't log in by now, the denial letter is on the way. They prob thought I was too old. But I still have lots of years until retirement & really wanted this. I heard they actually prefer less experience. Bummer.
  9. Nothing again here in the mail. Curious, did the ones here that rec' d their acceptance letters, kinda already think they were in because they were able to already see it on Blazernet?(Beyond registering, you could also log in prior to letter?)
  10. Woohoo! Congrats nontradbsn!
  11. Nothing in the mail here in Ok. & still can't login in to anything
  12. dimples, don't get down. Pre-admit is good. It prob. means they are waiting for your acceptance of the slot. Some of us haven't even got that far yet.
  13. Fa2ns. I don't think they did. The system just pulled our SSn, birthdate from our applications
  14. Believe me, I want to be wrong here but if you look back at Dec 8 posting, [COLOR=#003366]dsvirid085 posted that they are applying for next year but got all their application work into the system last week and he/she was able to register a Blazer net ID as soon as they had the app. There is no way they have accepted a candidate for a semester after us. I still think anyone who has a submitted app, can register a Blazernet ID. However, I am still waiting/hoping to see what happens when we start getting actual mail.
  15. Nontraditional, yes we are :-) I don't think they really understand what they put us through. Did you all see that Tina Fey movie about admission committee to Ivy league school? Oh well, hoping we are all pleasantly surprised soon. 41 days and counting since app deadline
  16. Dimples that's exactly what I've been getting for a week.
  17. So if they are stuffing envelopes and the mailing is going out, and I still can't see anything on Blazernet except that I have an ID but login "can't be authenticated" There is probably a rejection letter coming my way, right?
  18. Hard not to be discouraged at this point:(
  19. Hope you're right Scarykarrey. But I think it's automatic when you submit your application.( that's how they have your SSN, birthdate, etc already in there) Not something they have to" take time to do". And just because we might not be admitted yet, doesn't mean we might not be soon. I am sure there are some "first choices" that will decline and maybe we are on the back burner as a maybe. Hoping and praying it's just a big stack that is still taking time to get through.
  20. I think you're in FA2NS. Congrats. Some of us don't have all that access. Just a registered Blazer ID. but yes once you can log in after registering, I think that means you are pre-admitted
  21. It was "one stop IT" and the other IT help desk I spoke to. But evidently,( and unfortunately) you can create a Blazernet ID as soon as you submit an application as someone did above who just applied last week for FALL 2014. The blazernet ID finds your identifiers thru your submitted application. So I'm not as hopeful as before.
  22. I called IT this morning and found out it doesn't really hurt to register a Blazer ID. You just won't have any access until you are at least pre-admitted. I found out my app is under committee review so no access yet. I really think the FNP is so competitive that I have little chance of getting in but at least my app isn't in the "circular file" yet. The IT person said you can keep checking your status on the UAB website: Application status ( where we first submitted app) and can use your PW and PIN from there to see if your app has been more than just submitted. Hope this helps some. If anyone actually starts getting letters in the mail, please post ASAP. Good lucK
  23. From what I understand, whether you do it now or later, YOU decide what your ID will be, they don't assign you an ID. So, when you go to register, it asks for your SSN and a few identifiers, and if it recognizes you, you are in their system and lets you register an ID.
  24. Have you tried to register yet Dimples?
