I understand your disappointment. This is my second time applying. The first time was for my accelerated BSN program and this time for a DNP program which I thought was 1st tier but found out afterwards was actually not the first tier. Its disappointing because I'm sure we are all deserving of the scholarship there just aren't enough funds for everyone. Good luck with everything.

Does any one know if there is a chance that they will check credit for more people. Or has there typically been one round of credit checks?

my credit karma transunion score dropped 10 points, but nothing changed on my report. no pulls or anything else. How realistic is it to believe my credit was pulled but hasn't shown up on credit Karma? (Dont mind me just wishful thinking)

Im in a DNP program too. Its nice to see a DNP student get a credit pull. Good luck to you and of course everyone else too. (No credit pull here)

Hello NP_HOPEFUL I am in the same program as you at Rugters and just started in September with you. I just contacted a recruiter who is eager to get me to basically complete lots of paper work within a weeks time. He says there are 4 spots available for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Scholarship and says by completing mine now I will be ahead of the people applying in the next month. He also said if I commissioned during next semester tuition and the stipend would be back payed. I was hoping you would be willing to share your experience with the scholarship application and how things are now. Thank you.

@pbflash42 sounds like a reason to still be hopeful. Is that for people still under view or people who have already received an award letter but not the official letter yet? Since according to the the thread there are people still under review, people who have received official letters and those who received letters back in July and August but no official letter yet. Btw I'm still under review couldn't even get a loan for my program hoping for a miracle at this point and my program starts Monday :-/
