  1. First Day of Nursing School

    Today was my first day of nursing school and it wasn't bad. I think we spent most of the day going over paperwork and signing forms. There was a two and a half hour orientation followed by a welcome luncheon and then a two hour lecture. Our first exam is the day after Labor Day and covers eight chapters. Can you say ouch?

    I have an iPad and found I couldn't load the e-book because it doesn't support Adobe Flash. I use an app called iWriter that works like Word for taking notes.
