  1. POLS 2311 was easy and I literally just finished Art Appreciation two weeks ago and it was ridiculously easy. We had no group work in our class and the papers / projects were a breeze. Haven't taken any of the other classes you have listed, although I did take History 1311 and it was the hardest history class I've ever taken. I think I saw that its the same professor for 1312, so beware. The workload was waaaaaaaay too much for a freshman history class.
  2. not when I took it this past spring, it didn't.
  3. Yep, quizzes are all multiple choice. Definitely take advantage of your academic coach if you are confused. The earlier on you get confused and don't figure it out, the worse off you are. Every chapter literally builds on the previous one, so there's no escaping the information once it is presented to you. I didn't think the quizzes were difficult, but I maintained strict discipline in this class with the lectures and my note taking.
  4. Just took the class in the 2nd half of the spring semester. I did ALL the homework and took notes on every video. Aced the class. It was pretty easy if you really took the time to do all the work. I usually am terrible at math, but this class was great. Good luck!
  5. How are things going with the Philosophy paper? I feel as though much of what I write is redundant and not very interesting. I'm about halfway done and its taking me forever to keep motivated and finish the stupid thing.
  6. It seems with the new blackboard layout, courses are not being opened up earlier than the actual start date. All my spring and summer courses, I had access about 1 week prior, but all my fall courses are not available until day 1. Kinda sucks as I like to try and get my ducks in a row prior to class beginning.
  7. That's crazy! None of the other courses I've taken have had this requirement, so it might just be that course. Maybe look for a different instructor for the same course?
  8. Oh also, you do not need the access card, but I thought you could work ahead if you wanted to....Not entirely sure, as I never did. The one test that you could not do early was the final exam, but the other tests and quizzes were posted from the beginning. The amount of work each week was enormous that I simply couldn't work too much ahead even if I tried. I just took this course this past spring, so it was pretty recent.
  9. Ugh, definitely did not like this class. The labs are pretty easy, I believe she gives you the link to buy it at labpaq.com. It's $100, which is kind of a rip off, but its the easiest part of this class and a great way to boost your grade.
  10. Sassrn, I used this article: "There really is a difference: Nurses’ experiences with transitioning from RNs to BSNs" by Delaney and Piscopo. I'm not at home and can't remember the other one, but this is a good one to use. In CINAHL, it won't show up as full text, you need to click on the link that says "Click here for more info" to get the full text. Make sure you are searching in the CINAHL database in EBSCO otherwise you'll have a hard time finding the article. Hopefully this will help you!
  11. I'm taking it! Currently looking for articles as I type this out. I am doing a search in CINAHL database, which is probably the most appropriate database for this assignment. If you go to the nursing subject guide in the UTA library, near the top underneath the tabs is an italicized link that says RN to BSN transition. Click on that link and it will guide you through a search in CINAHL. Hope this helps! The setup for this course seems rather confusing, doesn't it? Like information is stored in all sorts of places and isn't very centralized. I'm not liking it, but I guess I'll get through it.
