Thanksss. You will pass. Have faith in yourself. Just know your content by heart...I was thrown off though with the nclex questions because it seems like i everything i knew wasn't in there. lol. Just try to stay calm while you are at it and dont lose your focus. The very best

I have been on this forum and read a whole lot of stories regarding nclex. Infact, nclex discussion forum is always an open tab on my computer while reading and preparing for the Nclex. To start i am a foreign graduate and i must say nothing prepared for Nclex-rn. I got my att and started reading since last year, choosing a date and rescheduling like a 100 times or so. LOL! My problem was i didnt know my content to heart and the more i read, the more i forget until one faithful day a friend introduced me to another student preparing for the nclex. That was the day my life changed forever, we started from the beginning using Kaplan review, online and the book, Hill McGraw, Saunders, Exam Cram and Nclex 3500. I retained so much more and gained many in depth knowledge of the content.Fast forward to a month i was a different person, i saw questions differently, i knew why an answer was right or wrong. So i scheduled my exam to Sat 26th of April, my husband drove me down to the centre and i thought i was ready. I checked in and BAM i was at the computer..i skipped through the tutorial or whatever. Then the questions started....i felt my heart beating in my head and kept telling myself...'im only going to write this exam with a mild level of anxiety and nothing more' no moderate anxiety or severe. Question 55 and i wanted to take a break, but i said why not try to get to 75 and then take a break...all the while i thought i was doing so bad and kept thinking i am so gonna fail because i didnt even know what the questions were asking and all when i knew....i felt i dint know the answers. Long story short, the computer shut off at 75 and i was relieved but i was about 60% sure i failed. What a terrible feeling? 1 hour later i joined my husband and son at a restaurant..did the PVT Trick but outside of the restaurant because i wanted to find out alone if i failed or not. I got the good pop up and ran back in to show my husband...He checked 3 times more and i was as happy as anyone can be. I am also so grateful to my nclex buddy...she is the best thing that happened to me for nclex. Now i am praying so hard for her to pass also at her first sitting. Have faith in God, with Him i am now an RN. He did mine and He wont leave you alone too. Believe in yourself and you can do it. Please and Please never give up!!!! Between, how long will it take for my name to show up on Californian Board?

DO not worry, have faith in yourself and all will be fine again. I am a foreign trained nurse and i am testing in dec for the first time. I also have a 9month old who is so occupying. I just try to keep my head up and get the ball rolling. I am sending you lots of Hugs and wish you all the best for next time.
