I am very happy for you, I have also applied to the part-time LPN program and I am still waiting to hear from them. I am about to go nuts waiting. It would be nice to hear from them so if plan A fails, I can move on to plan B. You know what I mean. Anyways GOOD LUCK to you. Bobbye

Hang in there it will get better, sometimes you can study to much at one time and that will only frustrate you more. I used to have trouble retaining and I took advice from someone who told me to study in short times and when you loose interest and your mind is wandering it is time to stop for awhile and then start back up after you have revived. Hey out there, I was just wondering how many were waiting for a acceptance letter from Gordon Cooper? I had my interview on June 13th and the waiting is killing me. I am so nervous and at the same time I have little ones, and need to start getting things lined out for the school year. Tell your sister to ask for Dr. Sparkman, he is a saint and knows what he is doing. He is very attentive to his patient and lets you ask all the questions you feel needed. He has delivered 3 of my boys and if I had anymore I wouldn't ask for any one else. Not to mention that he saved my life with the 2nd one. With him I had placenta abrupta and we both were dying and with all the blood I lost I shouldn't be here. So when I tell you hes a saint, He is. I also felt very comfortable with the hospital, Its just as good as anywhere else. I hope I have help in some way. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. You can also PM me if you need to. Sounds like we have alot in common. I am 30,and mother to 5 wonderful children, too. Their ages are 12, 11, 7, 4, 21 months. Wow, makes me tired just writing it. I have also tried to get most of my children to the age that I would feel comfortable w/ go to school. With the exception of one. Our goals are a little different. Just wanted to reply to you, the most comfortable I've found are nike shox. I love them so much, I have several pair. Although they can be a little pricey. I look for them on sale. Bobbye

I have watched the show from the beginning, and I would say " I love it!" But when it is over I change the channel or turn the television off, because for me it is a means for entertainment. I don't think we should let a couple of comments from a T.V. show, control our feelings about our chosen profession. And if by watching the program gives someone the idea to spout the remarks, I am sure they already felt this way. We can not blame the television for the way we as human beings view society. Because we as human beings our the ones in charge of the remote, at least in my house. :chuckle

Me too, Its been 10 years since I have really been in a school enviroment. I am so, so nervous. I am 30 and have spent more time with my kids than anything else. So I am nervous and at the same time very excited at the chance to live out my dream. So its nice to hear from you and all others. Best wishes to you in all that you do.

I am sorry for the way you are feeling, I have similiar worries if not the same. But you are not alone in this. I have alot of demands for myself.........children!!!!! What they need more than anything is for me to suceed. Their finacial future depends on me. So I know how you are feeling, I can say that it will get better. We just need to surround ourselves with a great support system. And of course more importantly, believe in yourself, and know that you are destined to greatness. Goodluck. Bobbye
