I just got a new job in a nursing home, I have no experience and I am little scary to mess up. I don't know how long my orientation is going to be, well I think only two days so how can I learn everything in two days idk. Just keep applying and I think that is wrong they fired you so you need to send an email to cooperate office and complain plus try HHA you make you're own schedule and you are you own boss ...good luck and you will find something don't give up:-) Sent from my iPhone using allnurses.com

Yes is crazy like I applied to a hospital to Voulentier and they called me today telling me I can't Voulentier because I have on mine background a small misdemeanor that got dismissed so hr told me well we are denying you because you went trough like stages with this misdemeanor and is like the same hospital send me for a interview for patient tech I m confused now m waiting for this nursing home to do same and I have no clue how is it going to end and mine misdemeanor is for theft so idk even it got dismissed now m worried Sent from my iPhone using allnurses.com

Heheh I know I put thing because idk how to explain I got misdemeanor but it got dismissed so the court told me well 8 years ago court said I can get it expunge but I didn't and now it comes up even as felony but is not idk is weird but yea I passed the check for my cna license and they asked me for dismissal papers and once I got it I got my license cna well I want this job sooooo bad and I have not had anything on my record sense so I guess is ok I wonder to work in nursing home what is bad on you're record hmmm I will pray I need this job I have been unemployed for 8 months but thanks for advice Sent from my iPhone using allnurses.com

Hi everyone well I don't understand hiring process ok I have my cna license I have one thing on my background that got dismissed so I got my license from state on Florida now my question is in my interview with one nursing home they did drug test I passed and now they told me we have to wait for background ok if u had a bad background how come I got mine license like I don't get it so is been five days and idk what to think if that please help Sent from my iPhone using allnurses.com

Thank you I don't get this whole thing is like they tell you we are hiring then you go and have you're interview then they give you a test and either the test going to determine If you hired or you're personality I yea I forget you need references at least 3 and last experience is like they are making it hard for new cna out there idk maybe I need more patience but thanks for info I have been trying for three months and I think I will look for something else not related to medical field with three kids I can't just wait is not fair Sent from my iPhone using allnurses.com
