  1. I graduated with my ADN in Hawaii in May 2013. I passed my NCLEX 2 months later and then a week after that I moved to Houston Texas. It took me 2 months to transfer my license over to Texas snd within a few weeks I landed my first job in Home Health Care. A month after that I got my second job in an Urgent Care. I'm still working those 2 jobs and even got hired for a Peds nurse in home health care, but it's too much for me right now. I'm also in a RN to BSN program as well.
  2. I myself was given the flu shot by an MA as SQ as well. I shook my head and thought wow that was wrong! Now for the MAs that I work with, they are excellent! I work at an Urgent Care Center and I'm the only RN there on my shift with one MA. It gets hectic sometimes but they know what they can and can't do and don't cross the line.
  3. Oh and I have been working as a Caregiver since Sept 6th, working 6 days a week. I'm thinking of trying to get a CNA job just to get my foot in the door somewhere.
  4. Hi I just moved to Houston from Hawaii in August. I graduated with my ADN in May and passed the NCLEX in July in Hawaii. I transferred my RN license to Texas and have been searching for RN jobs. I have had 2 interviews and one later today. I am getting so frustrated, I'm wondering if it is better to get my BSN now or wait? And what are some accredited BSN programs that I should be looking into? Thanks Cara
