to fill out an application, do u have to get ur certificate first? my dad went and got me one, but im afraid that i need the certificate. how long will it take to get it? if you can tell me, id be RELLY happy!

hehe, ganeese. i meant that i would finish high school, but my plans are to go from high school to college classes that center around optometry. i can see how that was a little confusing. i also found out that in missouri, you have to be at least 16 to work in a nursing home, and its even better on me becasue of my CNA. i just hope that they decide to hire me.

well, i live missouri, and im not sure about it. im about to go to my local nursing home and apply. this is what ive wanted to all my life, be a nurse. i also want to be an optometrist. can u go straight from having your CNA to college? what about a speaclized school? im only a junior in high school, but i would rather make my plans early.

hey, i just passed my CNA exam and im only 17. do you think that nursing homes would hire me? or do i have to be 18? im hoping that they will. :uhoh21:

hi! i just became a CNA today and i would like to make some nursing friends, too. i was SO nervous about the written exam! the most nerve-racking part was just waiting to hear if i passed or not! the practical part was easy. i hope that i can get a job soon. im only 17. do u think that a nursing home would hire me because of my age?

hey, im a female nursing student, and i have 1 male student in my class. im pretty sure that he feels lonely, too. i have nothing against a man wanting to become a nurse. all you should worry about is what you feel is right. if God has called you to do this, then go for it. there is no reason for you not to. just follow what your heart tells you. never worry about what others tell you or think about you. dont even worry if they like you or not. your probably a REALLY super sweet guy, and you shouldnt worry. if you want, you can email me at (see profile). im here to listen if you want. :)
