  1. Me too! See you this Monday :)
  2. Hi Kim, Congratulations! Im so excited that I got accepted in Seton. I already passed my NCLEX this August, just focus and do a lot of Q&A before the test. Which Seton hospital are you working and what unit?
  3. Hello yellowpaprika! Im also a February Cohort. I will be doing my health screening this January 12. Where will you be at and what unit?
  4. Hi besaangel, I get paid almost $2 in Seton than St. David's. I like both hospitals though I heard great things about Seton in this site and I know there are great nurses in St. David's too. What hospital do you work?
  5. I thought I was going to take FENS as well but they said "no" since I just passed my test. Also, my BON is Hawaii and I just endorsed it here after I passed. I already got my license in texas and starting to work next month. Hopefully once you pass your test it shouldnt be a problem.
  6. Hi, why do you have to do refresher course? As far as I know if you just passed you NCLEX test you should be fine.
  7. Hello everyone, Im fortunate that I was offered to work in both St. David's and Seton Residency Program. Im now confused which hospital to choose from, when I had my interview in St. David Med/Surg Renal/Endocrine unit I find it that their nurses are nice and friendly as well as their unit manager. When I had my interview in Seton General Med/Surg unit I only had the manger to interview me and I got to meet one nurse and they are both nice and freindly. Seton offers me more than St. David's but I dont know what to do I already signed my offer letter in St. David's last week and Seton just called me today. I heard really great things about Seton Residency but not so much with St. David's.
  8. Hi Dee21, i had an interview at St. David's last week and they usually ask behavioral type of questions like " how to handle rude patients, when was the time you go above and beyond your duty etc etc. But the main thing is just be yourself and you'll be fine :)
  9. Hi, I know this is a late thread but I also got a verbal offer at St. David's NAMC for med/surg renal/endocrine unit but it's been a week and a half and I have nnot recieved my jpb offer in my email. How long did you guys recieved your offer letter after you got the verbal offer?
  10. Im waiting for my license number too. I passed my test on Aug. 19 and paid a week after but until now no license number yet on pvl.
  11. Hi, I saw your message but I cant send you a private message, idk why. Anyways, thank you for your reply. I sent my $162 to Hawaii 2 weeks ago but until now my license number is not in pvl yet. How long did your license appear in pvl Hawaii? I just need my license number really so I can start the endorsement.
  12. Well that's what they told me, refresher course are only for those who passed the test and did not apply within 4 years. Did you take you NCLEX-RN already? They might changed it once you passed your test. I called them twice just to confirm and same response from them.
  13. You don't need to take refresher course once you pass your test. I took my NCLEX-RN last week and passed, I'm on the process on endorsing my license from Hawaii to Texas. Anyhow, I called Texas BON to clarify about refresher course since I'm a foreign nurse who graduated 2007 in the Philippines. Texas BON representative told me I don't have to do refresher course since I just passed the test last week even if I graduated 2007. Refresher course are only for those who passed the test 4 years ago and did not apply for license in Texas. Hope this helps.
