In my hopsital ortho is a "clean" floor. No patients with any type of bacteria or virus is allowed on the floor. If they develop it they are transfered to a med surg floor.

im a recent grad bsn and in our leadership class we spoke much about this. I was told to put the capstone experience and hours as well as any clinical hours I had done in an area i would like to work in. I ended up getting an interview at my dream hospital this monday for a position in my capstone unit ( which i dont particularly want but ill get my foot in the door!) I want to work in critical care. I got a strip and the question was what is the patient feeling.

ATI reps told us in school that they look at the last 60 questions if you go all the way and see if you were above the passing line

Math test is simple. Granted i took it 4 years ago right out of hs so i knew some of the math. Alot of proportions, division, simple things that most forget. Oh and percentages.

Know these before you think about scheduling!

DId you do the PVT? I dont know anything about california, but for ny they have a quick result in 48 hours you can pay for. Good luck !!! I hope you passed!

Took my Nclex today. alot of meds. Know root word, like cef for cephalosporins or pril for ace inhibitors and know their side effects
