  1. Hi guys! I have an interview for the Jan 2015 class in July. I was wondering if you had any pointers? I have 3 years of pediatric cardiac ICU experience.
  2. I have an interview for Drexel's program coming up in July. Any pointers? I have 3 years of pediatric cardiac ICU experience. I'm nervous (as if any one wouldn't be)!!! How much do they consider you based on your GPA and CRE vs recommendations?
  3. Hello Everyone! I have recently applied to some of the CRNA programs in PA including Pitt, Excela, Villanova, Drexel, York College, and La Salle. I've been a Pediatric Cardiac ICU nurse for 3 years and have been researching potential questions for interviews. I understand scenario questions are catered to your area of expertise but being a large heart center for kids we still do not encounter Swans or PAs. Our central lines consist of Alines, CVPs (through IJs or Broviacs) and the occasional LA line in really sick patients. Do you think being limited to specific lines will be a downfall to interviewing? Everything else is pretty much the same for pressors and arrhythmia management except everything is smaller doses and per kg. Any tips for interviewing or how to prepare???? No matter how much I do, I still feel as though I am not preparing enough. I do have an interview for Drexel so far.....
