  1. The program was fairly easy, as long as you write the papers and turn them in on time, there were 2 classes that I had to take tests in, study the material and you will be perfectly okay. I took two classes every semester (7 weeks) and finished in 10 months. Research, advance assessment, and healthcare economics I struggled but I got A's and a B. Best of luck
  2. I just got accepted into the the online program, I'm nervous yet excited as well.
  3. I need clinical experience prior to my CPNE, no nursing home experience, no hospital setting; just a nurse in a doctors office. I'm almost done with my courses with excelsior and I fear the CPNE being that the last time I even took a BP was in 2012. If anyone has any information in regards to clinical experience please let me know. I have been an lpn for 2 1/2 years, I live in NJ, Im an allergy nurse I basically loss all of my training and clinical experience with in those 2 years, I probably couldn't even take a patients blood pressure at this point in time. I verify insurance all day, call patients, test them for allergies and if they are a candidate I make their mess, the only thing clinically that I do is teach patient how to give injections and educate them on their allergies and epi-pen. The reason I decided to write this article is because I wanted to know if there are places that have training for me were I can gain skills prior to me taking the CPNE. I need more then 3 days i want intense training, I would prefer if it was free were I would be volunteering. Please help if you have any information. Thanks☺😊
