  1. Don't be confused my friend. It's not a matter of being scared. Though, I am not a CNA, my sis has opted for it. Initially, even she was scared and not confident about her choice of career. But, now she has completed her CNA training and is doing good as a CNA. You would get the training of your job and gradually learn it. So, just continue with your studies and practices.
  2. There are several programs of varying durations from which you can choose according to your suitability. Doing a certification in nursing assistant will be beneficial as there are increasing prospects to it, as a career. The jobs of CNA include mainly of care and assistance of the patients. It also includes assisting them with the activities of daily living such as feeding, grooming, checking vital signs, bathing assisting nurses with medical equipments. They are also an effective means of communication between the doctors and the patients. They are expected to communicate all the time with the patients and monitor their progress towards the treatment.
  3. I had enrolled in a comprehensive program, so my training extended to 5 months. However, there are many programs available which are of varying duration. Most programs are for 3 to 4 weeks. Some may be even for less than 3 weeks.
