  1. Thank you so much!! You have helped me very much to understand how it works. I appreciate it. :)
  2. Hi, I have no college credits and am wanting to apply for WGU Nursing Prelicensure program. Does WGU offer the classes to be eligible to apply for the program.
  3. I spoke with the nursing program rep and she said they are not spread out everywhere.. That would be a little crazy I don't think anyone would do that. At least I wouldn't.
  4. I thought you could do clinicals in San Antonio? Why would they make you travel so far if you live closer to San Antonio? I'm getting a little worried because I am applying at UTA but was told I could do clinicals in San Antonio where I live.
  5. My husband and I own a CNA school in Texas and currently you are required to have 24 hours of clinicals and as of September goes up to 40 hours. I would check the accreditation of the school if they are not requiring that you do clinicals.
  6. Hi I have the same plan as you:) I am 27 Married with 2 children and am registering at UTA for nursing pre-reqs and then their nursing program online. If you don't mind me asking what state are you in? Are you going to take classes online or on campus? It's nice to find someone starting in the same position as I am :)
  7. Hi I just turned 27 and am starting my per Reqs at UTA for the nursing program. I also did do some college when I was 18 but I didn't take it seriously and stopped going. Over the years I have tried to go back here and there but just was not able to commit with things I had going on in my life. I now have matured I believe since those times :) now with 2 children 5 and 6 and a husband. :) I was a little scared to start as I felt it was too late, but what the heck so what! :) I'm even trying to convince my mom to go to school she's 49. I am very excited and wish everyone the best.
  8. Oh I am currently a CNA and own a certified nurse aide school so have a little experience in medical field
