  1. sorry about that, I hope you get in somewhere esle. This was my only school I applied to but it gives me comfort knowing that I can apply to many more. I am an out of state but by the time i get into nursing school next year I would be in-state and tuition would definitely be cheaper :). I try to find the good in every situation and I hope you can too.
  2. oh okay now it shows 26 on accepted and 40 on alternate
  3. i don't know it showed 26 on each for me.
  4. Ladies and Gents the results are in. The results are on their website very easy to find. I did not get in but I am fine with that because I am a firm believer that things happen for a reason so I am not too worried. Hope you guys got in. There were 26 on theConditional Acceptance list, and another 26 on the alternate. Hope this helps :).
  5. I am so happy to hear that you passed because I knew how bad you wanted it and you came so far. So congrats. I am so nervous about tomorrow that i cant even sleep.
  6. That's both good and bad, I do wish that they pass because that could be us next year. Then again I take that back lol just kidding. Sending much love to Lyricalluna and I hope she passed hers.
  7. I wish los medanos would have fall and spring entrances for their nursing program because this once a year thing is not encouraging at all.
  8. really? somebody's gotta call them to let them know
  9. That's gotta be at least 350 qualified applicants. I am so anxious.
  10. omg it is getting closer and closer 3 day left till 28th and 5 days till the 30th. The wait is almost over people.
  11. You made the right decision. I had to do the same and I regret losing 250 dollar deposit to them.
  12. lyricalluna are you still interested on info for dominican?
  13. hello all, I too was accepted for Spring semester 2013 and was on a 1.5year waiting list for their BSN program. Dominican is a beautiful unversity but be aware that it is very expensive and if you are on their waiting list by the time you graduate you would be in at least 100k debt. A 3 unit course like a religion course (which you have to take by the way) will cost you about 4500. Because it is a private school, they have the right to raise tuition anytime they want and they have done so recently. I do believe that if the financial aspect of this is not a problem for you then by all means go for it because it is a great program. Congrats to all who received acceptance and I wish you all the best.
  14. The wait is killing me lol
  15. no i did not apply to any other place . I am an out of state student and was previously accepted at a private school but the tuition was 50k a year for 3 year BSN program. By the time I realized that the scholarship they gave me was not going to be enough, I quickly dropped out of the school and the only school with later deadline was LMC. That is my story.
  16. If you need someone to quiz you especially on the science part let me know :) good luck
  17. Wow just 30 people are accepted every year? This is definitely crazy and I am getting heart paplpitations just thinking about the ratio. I guess on the 28th we will know how many are qualified for the ranom selction.
  18. Thank you for that info. I am more nervous now lol.
  19. lyricalluna, I already bought the book and finished the reading section and on to the math and science. I hope my positive thinking will finally pay off. How are things going at your end?
  20. oh boy teas test. The teas test this year is version 5 right?
  21. are you in the program already? @Lyricalluna.
  22. I am stressed as well. I have been running everyday trying to keep myself busy. I try to stay positive. A lady from the nursing department said that emails will be sent out in a week or two to all qualified applicants letting us know when and where the lottery selection results will be posted.
  23. I called them last week and they said that they are sending out the letters for the lottery in the order the applications were received. I sent out my application mid Feb and I received my letter that I was qualified for the lottery yesterday. I dont know if this helps.
