:) hi...no cali doesnt participate in the quick results..you cant check the license verification before you get your results because you have to know your results first by the mail and send in a $100 check for your license and then once you get your license (after 2-3wks) your name will show up in the license verification online..i know its a long process because im am going through it right now...the rn process is different...hope info helps :)

thanks guys it took alot of studying! well as for the new format type i only got one of the blank questions but fortunetly it was about drug calculations..i had alot of med surg topics on mostly gi system...i got a few priority..a lil on jewish orthodox and alzhiemers disease...i studied frm 3 books saunders lippincott, and nclex made easy..i would highly recommend nclex made easy bcuz i saw some quest. made similar to that..but dont count on it..my classmates had totally different questions than mine....but good luck pray and relax before the test and youll do fine,...if you need anything else pls feel free to give me a message, i know exactly how you guys feel..ive been there

Took the test on aprl 5 2005 and found out my results today(located in cali)...found out i PASSED :yelclap: !!!! :balloons: ..thank goodness...I studied from 3 books lippincott, saunders, and nclex made easy(found similar questions in the boards) i had alot on med surg and few priority and i passed with 85 questions..its such a relief :) Good luck!!

I know how the CAT scoring works....i dont mean literally the score with passing the nclex is a 100% im talking about my class percentage of people passing the boards is a 100% sorry for the confusion...what is the exact website for that?...thanks

I just finished my lpn prog on nov and took the test on aprl 5 2005(still no results)...I had to thank alot of people for the support.I am a very young mother and my daughter is 4 shes in preschool even shes supportive and understanding the reason i said that is because when i study she sees me and sits next to me and asks me for a piece of paper to write draw just like her mommy...i had no trouble with her when i was going to school i would drop her off to go to her daycare just before i went to school and picked her up when i was out of school...at first it will be hard and it will feel like your overwhelmed but youll get used to it and keep a positive mind and just keep rememberin its for a better future for your family..Good luck and wish you the best... :)

Hi dani...i say go for the lpn program..i heard that if you were an lvn and decided to do the rn prog you have a greater advantage of being in the top of the waitin list...My sis is a lvn and she has a shorter wait in the list than the people who arent an lvn (the wait is usually 2-3 years)...Its always good to have money in the pocket when your in school :) I just finished my lpn prog and took the test in aprl5(sill no results yet) but it was really accelerated and a year seemed like a long deep breath..dont get me wrong there was definetly sum sacrifice going on but youll get through it..if i did it you can do it Good luck to whatever you may decide :)

First of all pls take a deep breath...I know exactly how your feeling..I still havent recieved my results yet either but we will do just fine...I know that you are feeling real stressed out but we will be getting our results in by this week hopefully :) .. my friends that have taken the boards recieved the results in exactly two weeks so i took mine on tues aprl 5 and hopefully it will come tomorrow...Trust me i have been getting dreams of me opening a thick envelope and an enlarged print saying "SORRY YOU FAILED" but all i could do is just keep myself occupied on other things to keep me from thinking about the results....I am also glad i have found this site because you are right family and friends dont realize what we are going through right now and all we have is the support of people who have been in our place and has the time to write to us and express their words of encouragment,,.... And its always good to let your feelings out instead of keeping it all in...so feel free to type in some more ...Thanks for replying and ill keep you posted.

:) Hi Carmen...I know how you feel i took the exam on Tues apr 05, i still havent recieved my results...I had a few prioritizing (just as LPN04 said know your ABC's and Maslows) and i had few on Alzhiemers disease, few on gastrectomy, ileostomy, Jewish Orthodox and few drugs. I dont really feel that much confident on how i did but if anything i hope the info i gave you helps...Try to rest and relax and try not studying before the test ..that was my mistake :stone ....Wish you luck...

To anyone and everyone who is reading this post and has taken the nclex boards recently...Does anyone know how the repeat like question system works? Can anyone explain that pls..I still havent recieved my results yet..its been one week and two days... I couldnt sleep last night again..my nightmares on failing woke me up... :rotfl: Pls if anyone can explain to me it would help me sleep just a little better at night.. and if anyone that hasnt taken their boards and would like advice on what kind of questions they would need to know pls feel free to ask me..I still remember some and most of the questions i got as if i took it yesterday. :uhoh21: Thanks

i am so scared to find out the results of my test...i think i did really horrible to get the minimum of 85 questions. Everyone in my class had passed the boards with 100% and every single one of them said it was sooo easy..I went on it like a piece of cake but came out crying because the questions kept on getting harder and harder and i similar questions cuming back over and over...i really think in my heart i could have done much better..i just have to wait one more week to know the results...and i hope and pray its not the thick envelope that people say you get when you fail!...anyone in the same situation?...

thanks LPN@04 for your words of encouragement..we need that from time to time and i esp needed it at time point of my life...i will keep u posted even if its the bad news that i had dreams about...hope you will too..i think you did well also because all the people who had the same numbers of questions as yours passed the boards and i've known of about 5 people, so your good.. hope both of us passed! hello..well im going through the same thing as you, but i have known people that had the same number of questions as you and passed! I too was getting alot of the same types of questions over and over again...i think i was too below the passing line, thats why it cut off on me quick. I was thinking to myself after i took it if it would at least give me more questions than that i would have at least some confidence. but i was doing real bad and the worst thing happens it cut off...What makes it worst is more of the pressure was on me because all of my classmates had pass and they all said it was too easy.. I went on to take it like a piece of cake but then it hit me i blanked out when they started to ask me hard questions and then harder and i just gave up... gosh i just dont know...I have to wait a week and half more to know the news. I too dread taking it again it was a real nightmare that came true! I dont know if i can even study for that again..:stone
