  1. Thanks everyone for the advice! I think I'm going to take it online, but I'm going to take enough hours to where if I need to drop it I can without dropping below full time status and messing up my financial aid.
  2. Thanks! That is great to remember that I can watch YouTube videos if I need help on something.
  3. Has anyone taken statistics online? I am wanting to take it online next semester, but have heard from others that it is not a good class to take online. Anyone have anything good or bad to say about taking it online versus taking it in the classroom? Thanks for any input!
  4. I sent you a message on fb to add me too!
  5. I sent you a message to add me on fb too!
  6. They didn't say how much it would be. She just asked if I had insurance so I'm hoping it will be just a regular co-pay. I go Thursday so I can let you know then. Their number is 918-652-9614. Address is 1102 w. If you want to add me as a friend and maybe we could meet up for lunch or something before school starts so we will at least know someone on the first day! Lol
  7. I am a 28 year old mother of two. My kids are 2 and 4. I didn't always know I wanted to be a nurse. When I graduated high school I picked a university for two reasons. It was 2 hours away from home and my best friend at the time was going there (Great reasons I know). I ended up failing out after 3 semesters and racking up a ton of student loans. After coming back to school and finally finishing up my prereqs I start my ADN program in the fall! I am so excited, and so glad that I finally know what I want to be when I grow up!
  8. Thanks for the info about the TB screening. I found a place in Henryetta that does physicals. It's called East Central Oklahoma Family Health Center. Let me know if you want their address and phone number. I really wish our orientation was sooner. I want to know what our schedules are going to be like.
  9. Hi Meggin J! I think we will be in the same class! I start at OSU Okmulgee in the fall ADN Program also. I feel like this is a stupid question but where are you getting your physical and immunizations/ titers done? I have been to my doctors office and the health clinic. Neither do titters or physicals. I wish our orientation was sooner!
  10. Congrats MommaTy! I can't wait to get started!
  11. Thanks! I will check that one out.
  12. After running to the mailbox as soon as the mail ran every day for about 3 weeks, I finally got my letter, and I got in to nursing school! I decided it was time to stop stalking this website and actually get a membership. So hello everyone! I don't start until September, but I want to start gearing up for it now. I was wondering if anyone has any good book suggestions?
