  1. Hi Jules. Wondering how the program is going and if I may bug you for some feedback. I start in spring 2015 and must admit I am a little anxious. Hope all is going fantastically well! Jayne
  2. Hope everyone is doing well. Currently completing pre-registration requirements. Jayne
  3. Waitlist is not a no. Keep in contact with admission and be tenacious. I was not waitlisted the first time I applied, and was accepted the second time. There's still a big chance that you will get in for Spring 2015. Jane
  4. Hi all! Got in too!! Extremely excited, of course. If anyone would like to keep in touch (FNP/Part-time), keep me posted. Luv'nsunshine, hope you get good news! Jayne
  5. Got it! Thank you kindly Jules. That certainly helps. Happy studying right back! Jayne
  6. Hi Jules, Congratz on being accepted! If you don't mind, can you tell me how rigid the program is? I realize it will vary per individual. I'm just planning on how many hours a week I should set aside as a part time student for classwork. Also, did you have to invest in a test proctoring service? Thank you kindly! Jayne
  7. Hi there! So sorry for the late reply! I just saw your post. I guess i'm a little late to give you info on the questions, but for others that may want to know, here the info. I imagine that not all professors ask the same questions. I applied for the HIV specialty and was asked to describe the work that I current do as an HIV nurse and Medical care manager. I was also asked why FNP and not adult. Another question asked about my goals or what my plans for the future are (as far as healthcare). I was also allowed ample time to ask questions If I had any. We did not discuss the implementation on the new curriculum. However, according to an email form duke, it may cut down on visits to campus. That's all I have! How did your interview go applesandfishes? Was it in person? Jayne
  8. Hi all! Well, had a very enjoyable/productive interview with one of the professors. I was told decisions would come out in mid August. Still seeking to connect to anyone who is already in the program to ask a few questions! My best to all! Jayne
  9. Hi Jules, Congratz on being accepted by Duke! Do you mind sharing how rigorous the program is? I have an interview next week for the part time FNP program. I'm curious as to how much time I should set aside weekly to successfully complete the program. Of course, I realize it will be a little different per individual. Also, did you have to invest in a test proctoring service? Thank you in advance Jules! Wish you the best in your program. Jayne
  10. Hey all! Same here; I am interviewing the 11 of June for the FNP program (part-time). Do any of you fellow nurses know how rigid Duke's program is? Also, does anyone know if we will be required to invest in an exam proctoring service? Thanks and best of luck!! Jayne
  11. Awesome that you got in!! Whoo hoo! Its kinda weird.. there is no decision on my page yet. All that is there is an orange triangle (Review Financial Aid To-Do Items) stating "To Do - financial Aid". Do you guys see the same message? Must be boo-boo. Jayne
  12. Silva, If by change it does not happen this time around, you can always reapply. Jayne
  13. Hi all! Wishing all of you the absolute best!! Hope you hear GREAT news soon! Jayne
  14. Was not invited for an interview. Boo! Does anyone know if there is a waitlist? To those that were invited, my sincere congratz!!! Jayne
