That is good news! I'm glad you got a response today and did not have to wait until next week. You are right, being on the waiting list is A LOT better. I talked to the person in charge of sending out letters today and she told me that they are getting really strict with the enrollment deposit for students who are transferring to CSULA. She said that if people do not send in their deposit by June 3rd, then they are losing their spot and people from the wait list will be contacted. Don't lose hope! :)

If they mailed out your letter yesterday, you should be receiving it by tomorrow

I got a call today saying I was accepted!!!! They told me I have to send an email by tomorrow 5pm accepting or declining my spot. I hope more people got good news today too :)

@yose.o: you should try calling. They are really nice and friendly! I also had a 22 when I calculated my pts.

I know... I wonder if he meant the first wave of students on the waitlist...

So I just called the nursing office, and all they said was that they are still waiting to hear back from the first wave of students to see how many spots are left :/

@peachdove: on the application, they explain how the points are given to each student. they give different points depending on your overall gpa, prerequisites gpa and teas scores. They give bonus points for volunteering and working in a healthcare setting.

Wish they told us where we are on the waitlist... they just said they cannot provide info regarding our waitlist status through phone. @axiousansty don't lose hope! From previous threads it seems like some people got acceptance letters after first wave of letters were sent.

So I just got a letter stating that I've been placed on the waiting list :/ it doesn't say what number I am or anything. For those of you who got an acceptance letter, when is the deadline for u guys to submit your intent to enroll?

thanks for the update guys! still haven't heard anything yet :/ I get so nervous everytime I go to check my mail or my email. sigh i hope this is over soon!!! @nursinghopeful23: I'm sorry to hear that you got that letter :/ have you tried contacting the nursing office to clear that up? did you send your transcripts through mail? i wish you the best of luck in other school you have applied :) im sure you wont have the same problem with other schools

Hello! This is my first time commenting on this thread. I have also applied for the Fall 2013 year. I was wondering if anyone can tell me when the last day to send transcripts was. I sent my transcript for my second attempt back in February and realized that I did not send in my score for my first attempt which was higher than 75%. I really want to get those 5 bonus points! Also, I took all my prereqs at SFSU and they count science lectures and labs separately for grading. So I received two different grades for each science course, one for lecture and one for lab. How would my grades be averaged out? For example, If I were to get a B in Physio Lecture and an A in Physio Lab, what grade would they consider for my Physio class?

2 weeks seems so far away at this point! I had a question and was wondering if anyone can help me by answering it. I took my science courses at a school where they count lecture and lab separately. So if I were to receive a B on lecture (3 units) and an A (1 unit) in lab, how would they average that out? Hope someone can help me figure this out! :)
