i am a certified medical assistant and have been working for kaise for a while now...

totally confused about that. I got accepted at Chabot nursing program in Hayward and dont know if i should accept them instead of ccsf... confused

i will be working... I cut down my hours to 20/week so i can have some time to study. i am working at kaiser as a medical assistant. Did you get into the program?

i don't think I am since I have to work this summer

do you guys know anything about Chabot College, how is it compared to CCSF. I just got an acceptance letter Chabot and not sure.

it was ok... alot of info, i was kinda scared at the end since all they talked about was how hard and intense the program is. They gave me hope that CCSF was not closing down. They gave us the first 2 weeks of assignment and believe it or not Exam 1 is on the 2nd week. But all in all just basic info of what to expect and the things we need before we start. I hope you guys get in spring. good luck!!

i was in the 60's

i was supposed to start Spring 14' but was called in for fall 13' and I took it. I am going to the orientation on may 16th. looks like there are spots for people on the waiting list. hope you guys get in

do you guys know what story is about CCSF not being able to get their accreditation? kinda worried about it.

volleygirl, i took it directly at ATI April 6th 2013 i got an email that they sent it to CCSF, when i called them to make sure they got it they wouldnt give me a straight yes or no. i am going to stop by at their office Friday.

Do you guys know how to post TEAS V transcript to CCSF. ATI said they will send CCSF a copy but when i called CCSF today they said that they only accept electronic copy of the TEAS score.

my coworkers gave me some books that they used last year but i havent looked at it yet... not sure if they changed books, i am going to wait to get my orientation date to find out about books. we still have a few more months, depending when we start to go through stuff.

I thought people who fail the TEAS V will get a chance to do it within a year of doing remediation class or thats what my letter said. I went to drop off my acceptance letter and asked her what are my chances of getting in the fall of 2013, she just told me to wait to see if people drop out of the class.

i received my acceptance letter Friday 4/12/13 from ccsf for spring 2014. do you guys know when our orientation is or will we get a letter after we mail our acceptance? i will be out of the country first two weeks of August and kinda nervous if they might have the orientation then.

Dont worry about it now... it wont change anything. I would just wait for my letter, if i get in, great, if not plan B. Dont loose hope i had a co-worker finish nursing from CCSF and she said usually 10-20 people drop. I hope we all get in... keep me posted

Test was not as bad as i thought it would be... overall it went well. yes, i will take the offer from CCSF since i am 88 on the list at CSM and they only offer 50 spots.

does anyone know if adjusted individual total score is same as composite score in TEAS 5? im kinda confused

That was my impression... first 50 for fall, and the second 50 for spring. when are you taking your TEAS? i am taking mine this Saturday, super nervous about it.
