  1. I feel that the Kaplan 2005-2006 NCLEX-RN review book AND the Saunders Comprehensive Review, and believe it or not the Davis' NCLEX-RN Review--the CD was more beneficial than the book to me. With the CD you could make your own quizzes. You could make quizzes based on the NCLEX-RN test plan. If you are weak in Management of Care..you can create quizzes that give you analysis questions or/and comprehensive items. It also has delegation and prioritization questions. This is the first CD I have come across that actually gives you tons of delegation and prioritization questions!! This was the majority of my NCLEX test!! Hope this helps!
  2. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!:balloons: :biggringi :smiley_aa :biere:
  3. Congratulations!!!!!! That is so awesome!!:balloons:
  4. Hi, Do not take it to heart. Some of those nurses like to "eat their young" so to speak. But to answer your question. I do not think that the low platelets indicate neutrapenia.. I think that would be thrombocytopenia. She is at a VERY increased risk for bleeding/injury. You were correct about why she cannot get rectal temps..just the wrong terminology..Try not to let it get you down.. Just smile back at her. It usually just pisses people off when they know they CAN NOT get the best of you!
  5. I know I heard that the drug calculations are considered some of the easiest questions of the alt format..
  6. Did you pass??
  7. I have a question?? Is it possible to take and pass the NCLEX and have NO Alt items on it?? I had 75 questions, and NO alt items.. I am worried.. :uhoh21:
  8. How do you feel that you did? Did you get your results back yet?? I am taking it on the 24th!! (tuesday). I am so nervous. I have heard from my classmates that no amount of studying is really going to prepare me. Michelle
