  1. I want to go to RN school. I have Lupus. Anyone else in this same position and what were your challenges? Thank you!
  2. I went to the nursing information session this past month and i need to tell you. I have never been so TURNED off in my entire life! I will refrain from mentioning the woman's name who did the session, but she was awful. rude, sarcastic, and condescending. Some of the people who showed up were just as rude and the session leader allowed the behavior. Also, every question asked should have been answered respectfully, not with an irritated eye roll or with vagueness. If your school is so great than any question should be answered with confidence and shown in writing. 50,000 is a HELL of a lot of money for an ADN, especially when community college might cost you $8,000. information sessions are a little preview into the school. This woman who lead the session was VERY high up at the college here at the Joliet/Romeoville campus. Her behavior is a representation of Rasmussen and I can say, i will go the extra year and go to the community college. I wouldn't give Rasmussen a dime after that session.
  3. Hi, I'm thinking about Excelsior for my LPN to RN. Anyone have any recent experience with them? Is it worth it to go there?
  4. Can i ask you a question? Where can i find a good company if i decide to go to Excelsior for the week that will teach me how to pass the CPNE? also, is there any good scholorships that will help me pay for this program?? I am planning on doing the same thing, taking ALL my pre-reqs at my community college than going to Excelsior, but what did u mean u Clep'd 24 of the classes? why would u need to do that??? I'm confused now Thank you, Nicole...LPN who needs my RN! Also is this program possible to do while WORKING!
  5. COD has the worst program EVER, it is next to impossible to get into! the waiting list is crazy and they keep adding on classes u have to take to even be considered for the program. 2 chem classes, really?? total BS. They're just trying to make money
  6. How much math is involved in the CPNE?
  7. Hi, my name is Nicole. I have been an LPN for 16 years. I need to know opinions on the program. Is there an entrance and exit test? what pre reqs are required? how are the instructors? I also live in Illinois and know I would have to work at the VA here or in Indiana or Wisconsin. thank you, Nicole!!
  8. I am so stressed about taking the PAX RN and i don't even have to take it for awhile... I am learning disabled in math and Barley passed Algebra/geometry ... and I never went farther than that in Math. I'm really concerned and debating changing my major.. I'm already and LPN but when i became an LPN these stupid tests were not necessary..... So irritated

  10. I applied for a job as a ON-Call hospice nurse. Not sure what I am getting into. I wanted to know the pro's and con's of On-Call and if anyone has worked for Seasons ? Thank you
