  1. Me too! I would much rather do a proctored essay vs the interview that I really can't prepare for. It seems like I've asked about the interview process in the past and most people are hush, hush about the details. Please post Any updates with your application and interview! I would love to hear and I will as well!
  2. Hello MotoMonkey, I am also applying to Monmouth campus. I think you have a very, very good chance of getting in. I have been looking into Monmouths campus for a while and I am excited to apply this year. I have started my application online and will wait to submit my transcripts once fall grades come in. Good luck!!!
  3. Congratulations THUNT14!!!
  4. I wish all of you who applied the best of luck. I will be applying next year, and I am so excited to see who will get in this year!
  5. So it was a group interview?
  6. If you don't mind me asking what kind of grades did you have? Is the application by a points system? How was the interview?
  7. Wow FutureNurse2020, that was a great description. You put it into a perspective from a student which sounds very intense. Thank you so much for taking the time to answer questions.
  8. Hi MommaFroggy, how do you like the program so far? Do you think the program is do-able for single parents?
  9. To Future Nurse 2020, you said all those who are accepted must be prepared. Can you specify what you mean in more detail? Can you give an example of what the first term might be like?
  10. ^^ sorry didn't specify, I meant a B is the same as an A in points for only the A&P classes.
  11. Hello everyone, I am applying to Chemeketa in 2015 and I have a few questions. I was curious to those who have less than the full points, did you apply without earning an A grade in any of the electives? Did you apply without earning an A or B in the A&P classes? Just curious because when I attended the Nursing orientation they stressed how important it is to earn A grades in all the electives like writing, general ed etc... And that a B is the same in points as an A.
  12. Oh my gosh, I appreciate you commenting back. I have gotten A's in all the electives beside CIS101 which I am currently taking so I will not know until the end of this term. I have all my A&P classes to take, which I realize is probably the hardest part, but I am very excited to start them. I am so glad to hear that Chemeketa doesn't just base all points on perfect grades and that the essay part is definitely important to plan ahead. Thank you so much for the fast and encouraging response!:)
  13. Hello I will be applying to Chemeketa next year. I am planning ahead for the essay portion and would appreciate any tips, obviously not the topics just anything any of you might like to add. Also it would be nice to hear if any of you get in and what gpa and scores, grades you had. Thank you!!
