If your dream is to go into labor and delivery my advice is to follow that job offer. I worked ER for years and it was very hard to find a training program for l&d. But if you want this hospital because it’s close to family that is also important...

Congrats to everyone so far. I applied to L&D at St John’s and tarzana and had interviews at both. I think the St. John’s went better. Are you applying as new grads or experienced nurses trying to get into a new department.

Same here. We had a few glitches because one of my interviewers didn’t show up so that has been a hassle trying to reschedule. Otherwise, the process has been seamless. I hope to hear back soon. What unit/ hospital did you apply to.

Oh I think it will be more getting to you know and why you want l&d. For new grad it is just about being yourself and being able to sell yourself. Know about the hospital and unit you are applying to. Good luck!
