I received a call offering me a spot in the LPN program at dccc! I was alternate #7. I'm excited! Good luck everyone. Don't give up!!!

Oh that is confusing :/ I have 163 but not from Forsyth. My coupled bio credits are from the same school. I hate schools are so different because I got points for just bio 165 at Davidson CC and Guilford Tech. Do you know if Forsyth tech offers a bio 163 section online? Thanks :)

What I got from speaking with VL is that you cannot get points for bio 163, only if you have completed bio 165 and 166. It is very confusing. She does the ranking for the PN program.

They would not give me any points for bio 163 even though I had taken it. V.L told me I had to complete bio 166 to get points. :/ I'm in bio 166 right now.

I applied for day. Have you taken Bio 165 and 166?

I was misinformed :/ I was told the program would count Bio 163 but they only count bio 163 if 165 and 166 is completed. I only had 92 points with bios not counted. They pulled 20 alternates and I'm #19 :/ but good luck to you! I'm sure you'll do great! :)

I received an alternate letter in the mail today. I'm not really sure why but I'm contacting admissions.

Did you get anything yet from DCCC? They may have made a mistake and forgot to send you a letter. I was alternate #40 for ADN and alternate #7 for LPN so it seems to me like you should have been in or a high alternate.

Gosh my nerves are jumping! I calculated my points: Teas 68.7 English 111 A - 4X3 credit hours = 12 points Psy 150 A - 4X3 credit hours = 12 points Bio 163 C - 2x5 credit hours = 10 If my calculations are correct that is 102.7 points Bio 165 I passed with a "B" but I'm in bio 166 currently so those wont count for my ranking. I was told by admissions bio 163 would count for the Pn program plus it was listed in the info packet. Did your packet say anything about the accepted point ranges? I hope I hear something soon so I can quit this worrying. Haha

I called Forsyth today and they are still going through ranking points. 2-6 more weeks... The wait is driving me crazy!

That's really weird because another girl & I received both letters the same day . I would call DCCC.

Only 40 students were accepted for ADN at DCCC I'm alternate #40. If only they accepted 80. :/ LPN accepted 20 students. I guess alternate #7 is not that bad. I did get a packet with forms to fill out if space opens up and my alternate # is called.

Does the final grade for PSY 241 only count for ADN at Forsyth?
