  1. Nursing school is nothing but late nights studying Lol! Get ready! Not to scare you but it gets crazy. I was physically sick for 6 months out of the year due to nursing school. The professors put alot on you because there is clinical work plus classwork... Clinicals can be morning or afternoon and they may be close or far away from your house... Yes, it is literally crazy!! Lol
  2. The PVT Trick works!!!!! I got 190 questions, went home and got the good pop up. A day and a half later, I saw that I passed the NCLEX-RN when I looked at the State's Board of Nursing website!!! :)
  3. Good luck with the fall term. The fall and winter were my toughest because that is where you get your foundation of what it is to be a nurse. 300 is VERYYYYY tough!!!! I barely passed 300 (Adult 1) and 301 (Pharm 1)... 300 is the core, the heart of nursing. On my NCLEX exam, I saw alot of material from that class. My best advice to you is understand Pharm 1 and Adult 1 before you move on because nursing just builds on that. Its tough because you are merging A&P with Nursing and you have to learn, also how to answer nursing questions. Nursing is more than just multiple choice questions. Every answer is CORRECT!!!! Just one answer is more correct than the other. lol let me know how you are doing this fall...
  4. Drexel is a good program. Just make sure that you do all of your homework and research before you commit, that way you can rest easy with whatever decision you decide to make... Good luck!
  5. Hey all. I just want to say that now that I look back on ALL that I went through...I can really appreciate Drexel and what they taught me. Its TOUGH!!!! It's definately not easy, but it prepares you for everything...
  6. Thanks so much! Basically, how much studying and hardwork goes into it. Make sure that you have a solid friend and family background because all of the stress takes a toll on you - mentally and physically. But trust me, if I made it, you can too! I hadn't realized how tough the HESI exams are, but I recommend getting the HESI book. The third edition is green and white. I didn't do so well when I first started nursing school but soon after I got the book, my scores jumped up significantly! I even passed the exit Hesi on the FIRST try!!!!
  7. hi everyone. I just recently graduated from Drexel's nursing program. its definitely an intense program however it is WELL worth it!!! Drexel is an awesome school for nursing. Its definitely one of the top schools. if anyone has any questions... let me know. I'd be more than happy to help.
