  1. I have been a nurse in my birth country for 7 yrs. I passed my nclex in nclex a month ago. So i am considered a new grad. i accepted a rn position to wrk in Ltc Other nurses tell me how difficult it,will be and that they will never make a mistake to wrk in ltc again. I have been out for two years and feels like i dont remember anything. I will b wrking nights. I am excited, i aslo realize that lots of things i will have to adjust to and learn. However nothing in life is easy and i maintain that if others have done it...i can do it too. Can anyone share with me their experience and what i can expect and what i can do to be successful. Thx much
  2. I know just how you feel, we have got to be strong , keep trying and never give up. I will take anything i can get now, trust me, untill what i really want comes along. gonna be doing my acls...see if that will increase,my chances.. do you still have ur lvn license?
  3. So many people ask that question! Hey guys, how are u all doing? I am an international nurse from the Caribbean. I sat my nclex and was successful over a month ago and have been looking for a job ever since. I have not been working for two years.....thats since i have been here in the U.S. I have been applying to several places...not even a call much less to land an interview.. Boy, do i feel fraustrated! Especially when i really need a job. I really thought it would be easier. I am now trying to do my bsn as it makes it more difficult not having it. At home alone...just wanted to share how i feel. Thx for reading.

  5. Ok Miss mRN...i will....thanks
  6. Thank you for your comments...appreciate it...44 font...lol wow...point taken though..thx
  7. Thank you so much, im gonna try condensing it and ill let u know how it goes
  8. It found it quite helpful, the questions are similar to nclex. I didnt read all their content but i zeroed in on procedures and infection control. I think it really helped me to ace the nclex..
  9. Hi everyone, its good to be alive! Please, can anyone tell me how many pages should a resume have. I did mine and it was 5 pages and i am a bit concerned. Thx much.
  10. Thank God for feuer ! Extremely exceptional. My friend tried some other programs and failed twice then someone told her of feuer and she passed on her third try. I failed first attempt and she told me about it and i used it....i passed.
  11. The cds you will have to listen and clarify . I prefer the cds...i went through them twice especially psych...
  12. I paid$345 for the 28 audio cds there are 11 med surg cds, 5 maternal and child health, 6pediatrics and 6 psychiatry. Plus you receive the pharmacology book along with a cultural diversity and the books that go along with the cds There is also a pharmacology audio that is sold separately...if you so desire. Ih also there is a sepate cd that has just questions and rationales. if you buy from amazon not sure what will be included in the package. I went to feuer website and ordered. http://Www.f-n-r.net
  13. Its audio of the live review,,but it comes with books also...there is 300 questions after each review series...well except med surg that has 600 ques...i dont know what i would have done without it. My friend who failed twice got it and passed and she recommended it and it was money well spent!
  14. I recommend feuer nursing review. It is excellent..its an audio review and you have the books to ho along with . Also there is ncsbn....they set the exam so it would make sense to do their review and or questions. Those were my major sources. along with lacharity...pda. I did questions from saunders , feuer kaplan and ncsbn. Of all they seemed to be the closest to the nckex.
