  1. As mentioned in the previous post...College Network is NOT a school. They simply put together these very elaborate study guides that are in binders that are outrageously expensive and totally unnecessary. I am not trying to "bash" the College Network, I am only trying to educate that you pay a h*** of a lot more for these binders than you will using the endorsed supplies directly from the school. Excelsior tells you straight up "beware of for-profit publishing companies as they are not endorsed by excelsior college and all required materials are available directly from the school, and most are actually included in the enrollment fee. hope this helps! Christine.
  2. hey!! I had so much trouble with nc5. it was the only one in fact that i had to repeat since i made a d the first time, and even having taken it already i barely made a c the second time. All i can blame for that is that it covers such a broad area that there is SSSOOOO much information. Good luck!! Christine.
  3. I purchased a cd from ebay...it is AWESOME!! the cost was like $10 and it contains information and practice tests from all the nursing concepts as well as anatomy and other classes...Here's the link directly to the item: http://cgi.ebay.com/Excelsior-College-Nursing-Concepts-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-RN-CD_W0QQitemZ7008899470QQcategoryZ2228QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Strongly recommended.... probably all you need. i have made A's on every exam i have taken since i purchased this cd... and just so you know i am not in any way associated with the sellers... i just really think its awesome! Good luck... Christine aka hcheerio
  4. Greetings!! Don't fall into that trap!! Also beware of The College Network. This is yet another publishing company that claims to prepare you for Excelsior but is not in any way connected with the school. I too got suckered into that cycle. Ebay is all you need IF you don't feel the excelsior content guide helped you any. I have taken all but 4 exams thru excelsior,,,soon to have those out the way as well,,, and have made A's!!! Hope this helps!!!l Christine.
  5. Hi everyone! I am trying to decide where to do my CPNE? I live in Louisiana, seriously considering SRMC in Atlanta. I want to know is this a big busy hospital, are there any hotels near by, if so what do they cost...what do you have to wear? I heard you are allowed to bring a careplan book? Is this true? Which is the hardest NC test? Also I was planning on bringing my boyfriend with me to Atlanta for moral support, is this allowed? Any advice or information will by very deeply appreciated.. Thanks! Christine.
  6. Ebay will be your best bet...trust me I have spent so much on all my study guides and books and stuff... Hopefully you have some good stuff I can buy myself!!!
