  1. I have worked in dialysis 15yrs all at fresenius. First of all your experience in med/surg and cardiac qualifies you to work in dialysis. But my suggestion is if you want to work in dialysis don't go to fresenius. I resigned 2mo ago. And started with Davita much better. Nurse9
  2. Ecube or proton both archaic crash alot. At my fmc unit. Got new machines tech service got them all hooked and ready go except calibrating the touch screen and key board. It's sad that this was not done with everything else to get these machines ready staff is changing passwords constantly. Something as important to your job as charting should flow and make our job easier. Not at FMC . I guess staff has that responsibility Nurse9
  3. Hope you have good luck it crashes all the time

  5. How bout some feed back from Fresenius RN's how ya being treated ?
  6. Boy don't I know it. I work with good techs but I don't understand that. Working at that pace just opens for mistakes. Nurse9
  7. It can be pretty routine. So don't let that alter you're attention. Usually they are mostly BP issues. A good pre assessment is essential. Once you know your PT's (if in chronic unit like me) you can be pro active with there tx I've been doing this 13 yrs. I've never delt with air embolism or hemolysis. I've delt with codes. Keep up on CPR. Where I work we start CPR and activate EMS and they take over. Nurse 9
