  1. The Commuter you are making as much as I am now as an ADON in a 106 bed facility. Now I feel I'm being ripped off, other than the ADON, I have other responsibilities that includes Staff development/educator, Safety and Restorative. Wow, what state are you at?
  2. The assessments are within the ARD window. In my experience, AAAs days would show on your UB92 when the billing office of your company have ran the reports and the MDS have not been locked and submitted to the CMS. The 5day MDS should pay Day1- 14, and 14Day pays day 15-30, 30 Day pays 31-60. If you did not have any COT, or EOT, or LOA this should not be a problem and make sure when you do your Tripple check meeting to let the Business Office Manager correct those AAA days to the RUG level of the corresponding MDS.
  3. To go back to the topic. If you can't find office type/paper work nurse jobs in hospitals, Long Term is also something To consider. I don't know if you've heard of MDS Coordinators but they are always in need in Skilled Nursing Facilities, and they require RNs. I've worked as one for 13 years, worked 9-5 Monday to Friday, never have to work on holidays, no On-call responsibility, can leave whenever I want. I am now 45 years old and just landed a Regional Consulting position due to my experience. Yes, there are several options out there. Good luck.
  4. Mariaj,You can start it as soon as possible. I don't see any problem in asking them as early as possible. I was an H1b visa. I moved from one employer to another. What I did is I talked to the recruiter and HR that I would feel comfortable working with them if they will sponsor my green card as soon as I start my employment and they did. You just have to be honest with you employer and explain your situation. Good luck!
