Just took the nclex today does the pearson Vue trick work??
Congrats! I took my boards on the eighth and I too got the good pop up. I have to tell you though, your license number does not show until you've paid the $150 fee then will they post it up. I haven't received my official letter yet either. Sacramento is taking forever on sending them out. They were barely working on people who took the NCLEX on the fifth. Anyhow, congrats!

New student having troulble with assessment of client
Practice on many of your classmates. Aside from that, try doing your assessment in order of systems, from the head to the feet. BP, Resp etc etc you should write down as you go on a small pad of paper so you can look back at it later.

Starting LPN Program in April!!
Thank you! I recently took my NCLEX a couple of weeks ago and from the Pearson Vue trick I passed. It took Sacramento a while to send out eligibility packets out after graduating and my study regimen was legit, ran into a few things that set me behind a month. Initially I wanted to take my boards in October but that didn't happen. It's okay though. I'm done with it and now just waiting for my official letter so I can pay for my license. I have had job offers but I wasn't licensed yet. So hopefully I find something. I'm sure ill land a job.

nclex-pn taker 1/18/13, did pvt trick, good pop-up but...?
I took mine on 1/8/13 did the Pearson Vue trick a day later and also received the good pop up. I still haven't received my official letter. I called BVNPT today and they said that they're working on the people who took their NCLEX on the 5th of this month. Therefore, I'm sure it'll take another week and a half for mine to arrive. And yours another week after. There is always some delay in Sacramento. So it varies when they send out the letters. Also, After paying the license fee then will your name Benoit on the license verification. Congrats!

Starting LPN Program in April!!
Congrats! I am fairly new to this site too. I graduated the LVN program here in Nor Cal in May of 2012. I loved my nursing school and the clinical experience was amazing. Study hard! Prioritize! Good luck! If you need advice for anything let me know!
