  6. I haven't had much problems with male or female patients. The only time I had about being a male was in L&D when a few patients didn't want to have a male student nurse which was understandable.

    We have 15 males in my class of 60 students. When I started my rn program last year we had about 18, we lost a few during our time in OB.

    6-3 twice a week. My ADN program does the same amount of hours the BSN programs do expect that we do the hours in two years and they do it over three years.

    When I took Anatomy we dissected cadavers. It was interesting to say the least.

    Im still a student RN, so I am driving my 96 tacoma with 120,000 miles on it. I plan on driving it until it dies, but who knows I will be done with school next may if all goes well so I may buy a motorcycle.

  20. It took me a year and a half. So 3 semsters to finish my nursing preq and my general ED. I've gotten though half of my RN program at my JC. Two more semsters and I am finished. I cant wait.
  21. What is a step down nurse?

    Step down is between ICU's and regular floors like med/surg. It is like a transitional step for those patients.
