  1. I was studying for like 4 weeks aggressively hurst core content after that one week before my exam I did only questions from exam cream CD, Kaplan book 145 qt and Saunders CD 3700qt I didn't finish all Saunders qt I think I did about 1100 qt, read rationales very important, hurst is excellent , and also by doing questions u will learn more content , do exam mode on Saunders CD and do different style qt ( hurst 4 weeks 4-5 hrs a day and one week before exam just qt all day long take small breaks that's what I did) u will be good to go, good luck
  2. I would recommend Hurst review online or live for content and Saunders CD it have 3500 qt, that's what I used and succeed 6 years after I graduated my LPN program, I also used exam cream CDs, hope that helps
  3. That's exactly what I used, Hurst review, Saunders 3500 qt, alternate style qt also from Saunders CD helped me a lot, I had so many SATA, priority on my nclex I graduated in 2006 took my test August 19 2013 passed with 87 qt, I would recommend Hurst to embody and Saunders CD those qt was harder than my nclex qt in my opinion
  4. I answered 87 questions not 85 :)
  5. I took Hurst live review(3days),they give you core content book, I would go over two topics a day for example cardiovascular and respiratory it took me about two weeks,I felt confident that I know my core content without hesitation and doubt, after that I did exam cream questions I scored 87-90-94 etc. and I did Saunders scored 67-70-78 something like that , I did Kaplan 145qt scored 76, I think my nclex came straight out of hurst review, if you know your hurst review without hesitation and doubt you can answer any question out there and also use Hurst and Kaplan strategies . Good luck :)
  6. I used Hurst, passed with 85 questions. Hurst is excellent and I graduated years ago 2006 and passed on August 19 2013 :)
  7. Practicing exam cream qt helped me but I think Saunders qt was harder than nclex in my opinion and more similar to nclex, try to practice SATA qt on Saunders CD, read exam cream tips (u know that card on very begining of the book), Do u have Hurst? Good luck!
  8. Congrats kerrynurse :) I also think that Hurst is excellent I would recommend Hurst to everybody
  9. If u know your Hurst core content( w/o hesitation and doubt) like lady said , and if you use their strategies ( Kaplan, Hurst), use Saunders CD for questions do as many as u can, practice SATA qt, my nclex was 40% SATA, do all Hurst qt and u can answer any question out there, good luck & keep me updated!!!
  10. Take your time, I answered 87 qt in 2.5 hrs lol, if u can't answer qt based on knowledge use Kaplan strategies , look for key words do what ever it takes just don't rush :) Good luck , you will be fine :$
