In order to get into the nursing course your gpa have to be 3.25?? I am considering this school as well. I was looking into rowan cabbarus and other schools. I'm not from charlotte & i don't know what school to attend & what schools are descent.

I am looking to attend ecpi. I want to get into the lpn program. I'll be moving to charlotte soon and i need some feedback & looking to make new friends!

thanks for your input. I think I'm leaning more towards Mt. Carmel. Their open house an eye opener for me. Your right about employers going for nurses with a bachelors degree first. I wanna make sure that I have a job when I finish school. If I go to ITT, I don't want no employer having doubts about hiring me b/c of where I got my degree from. By the way how are liking the whole nurse thing so far?

the open house went well. the staff gave a presentation of the college. she talked about the cost, courses,etc. the ppl that took us to tour the school were student ambassadors. this was very good b/c they were students already so I got to ask questions. the staff & students were very nice & so was the school. after going to the open house yesterday I am convinced that Mt. Carmel is the right choice. please attend the open house next month, its worth it! I was so excited when I left...I cannot wait to start! I will start the application process this week b/c the deadline for fall semester is April 1st. I asked the student that toured us about the professors & their opinion about the school so far. the good thing about the school is that you don't have to take no entrance exam to get in the program. once you get accepted you are automatically in the nursing program. there's no wait! if you work for Mt. Carmel Hospital you get a 25% tuition discount if you're a freshman & sophomore & a 50% tuition discount for juniors & seniors. all your your clinical are done at the hospital which is good. its a private college & pricey but its worth it. its not as much pricey as the other schools. from what the student told me the teachers are very dedicated & they make sure you know what your doing. are you starting this fall or next spring? I hope I gave you some good feedback... =)

I went to mt. Carmel open house yesterday & i like the school & what they have to offer. I just want to know in your opinion if you had a choice to go to mt. Carmel, osu or ay other bsn school, which would you choose & why?

Ppl say its best to take prequisites at cscc but i just want to do it all in one school. I do not want to take ge classes at cscc then transfer to mt. Carmel. But so far i went on their website & i like what i read. I'm hoping after visiting the school tomorrow i have my final decision. I'm just ready to get in the nursing program already!!!

I was looking into mt. Carmel as well. I am going to their open house tomorrow. I already have an associates degree in gerontology so i would like to get a bachelors degree instead of another associates. What do you think about mt. Carmel?

they said they are accredited. the reason they are conditional b/c this is a new program. I believe all rn programs are expensive. there is no cheap program! if you find a good school please keep me posted, I will appreciate it =)

HESI A2 Exam Practice: HESI A2 Practice Tests ; Exam Review for the Health Education Systems, Inc. Admission Assessment Exam....I found this on the barnes & noble website. Do you think it would be helpful to use? Its only $3.99 plus tax & I can download it right to my computer. I just wanna know if the entrance exam is that hard or if its just some basic stuff? I am freaking out over here!

I take the hesi a2 entrance exam next week. I am praying that i pass it on the first try. Good luck to those who are taking the same test soon =)
