  1. I will be new grad soon, I have already been working as CNA at ltac which I love. I'm already working PRN. AS a new grad is it best to go full time or stay PRN. I have 4 kids and I love setting my own days around them. Other then possibility of being called off what are the pros and cons from the nursing stand point. Thanks
  2. I'm applying at my community college oct 7. It's highly competitive. I have a 3.8 GPA and I must make a 120 on NlN to even be considered. I'm also taking A&p 2 lecture-lab, micro lecture lab, nursing 101, intro arts. I'm so overwhelmed if I don't get in this next semester what is my game plan.. Other colleges around me offer other programs so should I be looking into just in case I don't get accepted or wait? The nln exam has me so scared.. I've bought the book and been practicing when I'm not studying. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!! OVERWHELMED
  3. No, I did not know Tech had a nursing program.
  4. In the nicu and still is employed there*
  5. My best friend was hired at Shumpert not long after she graduated! Never hurts to apply!!
  6. I'm taking anatomy, anatomy lab, math 99 & 102, English 102!! Yay
  7. I'm currently in my second semester at bpcc. Still getting my basics, but I'm trying figure out where I want finish. I've heard bpcc program is great and would love to finish but I've heard so many apply and not enough spots. I know nsu Shreveport more credits with them better chances but school cost more and with 5 kids I need keep cost down. I've also been told good things about panola college in Carthage, tx I don't mind the drive. Any input would be nice. Also, is it true certain hospitals hire according to where you attend school? Thanks
