Your age is most definitely not a problem!! You're going to get older whether you do this or not! I say go for it if you've always wanted to do it! But here's my advice, try to find a BSN program, or a community college that has a partnership with a BSN program. It might be extra challenging to find a job when you graduate with an associates degree alone, especially four years from now (two years of pre-reqs and two years for nursing school is usually what it is). Whatever you decide I wish you luck in making the right decision!! You get out of nursing school what you put into it so once you get the hang of it, it'll be a breeze (almost ) Good luck!

At least you all know your packets safely arrived at the hospital! haha! Still no word on what happened with mine, so I'm just hoping its there!! Hopefully next week the calls will start! Hey everyone! I'm in the waiting game too! Only one problem, when I mailed my packet, I of course paid to track it and it stopped tracking in transit. So I'm hoping the delivery person just forgot to scan it in. Otherwise it really never got delivered :/ I'm excited to hear from the rest of you how this process goes! Good luck to everyone!

I think you should go for it! It's a great opportunity and everything else will fall into place. Don't think about anything else right now.....if being an NP is something you truly want to achieve, I say go for it and your future plans will fall right into place! I am actually interested in applying for ASU's Pediatric DNP program. How was the application process? Was it extremely competitive?

Find a study group! It helps to talk out the material!
