Bridging Program in Australia
guys, i'm having problems with the online application for a national police (afp) check. it doesn't allow me to input two names under the field First/Given Name.. for example, with two given names like "Juan Pedro", it would only allow "juan" as the first/given name.. how is that possible? lol.

to those who are already enrolled in a bridging course in ACN, how long did u have to wait before u were given a sure slot in the intake? i just lodged my application there about 2 weeks ago..do u think i'd still have a chance to be included even in their latest intake for this year?

hmm. it seems that no one noticed or paid attention to my query/request.lol anyway, one more question, will there be an additional fee for ahpra registration once you're done with the bridging program? (aside from the one that we paid to ahpra for assessment of documents prior to bridging..). and how much will that cost?

What if the Boston bomber was your pt
i'll let personal issues be set aside when caring for this type of patient. it doesn't really matter if we were taught in the nursing school to care for patients with compassion and empathy because it is our own human instinct that would tell us it is the right attitude as a healthcare worker. ethically, it would be more proper if we treat patients as "patients", and not as anyone else who is accused of a heinous crime. in the first place, patients are so-called because they need medical attention for their health, and not judgement or criticism because of personal matters. let justice alone rule out what he did in boston.

yup mr.ceridwyn. i'm actually considering that as an option.

PHILMAN APPLICANTS forum
i don't really have the financial capability to shoulder the financial expenses for the bridging program that's why, i'm just gonna avail of this loan; although , the interest rate is really too much. i don't really have a choice becoz undertaking the bridging course is really expensive. well, lucky for those who have enough money for this.

Chances of getting a nursing job after bridging. What are the factors?
thanks for the info emes05. just recently got my eligibility from ahpra. i'm currently working as a staff nurse in a tertiary hopital. been there for 5 years alreadyand is only assigned in a medical-surgical unit. do u think that i will have a big chance to be employed as a RN in aussie later on? are there any other options aside from the working visa should i not be offered with such by a future employer? thanks for anyone here who will find time to answer my query.
