  1. What did I get for xmas at my place of employment, a plate of 16 hour old sliced ham, and the CEO got paid a $4.2 million bonus, sounds fair.
  2. Why are the care takers RN LPN CNA SECY and anxillary of the hospital having to take hourly cuts and being sent home early without pay. We break our back for our patients and the bonuses that are paid to the CEO's of "non profit" hospitals are outrageous. One article I ready and these can be found via a google search revealed that one such hospital paid it's CEO $4.2 million in 2011 to celebrate a profitable year and meeting all of its systemwide goals. How is this fair if it is a non profit hospital????? Hey government take note and change the laws SHAME ON YOU for allowing this to happen. What do you all think??
  3. Is anyone else concerned , in an effort to save money that LPN's are being used as RN's. If that's the case then RN's are no longer needed. The BON guidelines between RN and LPN states that the LPN is supervised by the RN, however in this case there is NO supervison and management is permitting this violation of the BON nursing scope of practice to be allowed....the patient is assessed from the getgo by the LPN and the RN is bypassed in an effort for more pt's to be processed.
